Your POV

20 minutes after Tom left I went and got my MRI done. It took about 45 minutes and then they wheeled me back into the room I was first in so I could get my stuff and leave. The doctor gave me some pain medication and a prescription for me to get more of it at a pharmacy near me. She said it would take a while to kick in since the pain was so bad. I changed out of the gown and called my friends Ella and Zara to come get me. They were my two best friends and they are always there for me and I for them. My back was still in pain and so the nurses wheeled me out to the car even though I could somewhat walk. Ella drove Zara up to come and drive my car with me back to my apartment.

Both of them helped me into the car. Zara started driving with Ella in her car behind us. "What the heck happened girl?" Zara questioned me. "Well, I was having tea with Tom when I got sharp pains in my back from falling yesterday. He took me to the hospital and waited for me until I was told I needed an MRI." I looked straight ahead while talking to her as she drove. "Who is Tom and why did you need an MRI?" She side eyed me. "Tom is the guy who pushed me with the door yesterday and he had a note that I dropped which he was returning over tea with me. The doctor wasn't sure what is wrong with my back so she wanted an MRI done." I looked out the window at the people on the streets. "So the same guy that caused this is the same guy that took you to the hospital and waited on you?" Her voice got higher. "Yes, yes he is." I sighed signaling I didn't wanna talk to much more. Me, Zara, and Ella have only known each other for about a year now but we instantly clicked and became the best of friends. We all know what each other's body language and different types of sighs meant. It's weird I know, but I am so lucky to have them. They are like the sisters I never had.

The rest of the car ride we just listened to some music. When we got into my apartment the girls helped me to the couch.
I sat down and grabbed my favorite blue blanket and wrapped myself up tight. "Hey, Ella could you please get me some ice for my back?" I lifted the back of my shirt up carefully. "Yeah, sure here let me put it on you." She took an ice pack from my freezer and brought a chair over. She sat down next to me and held the ice to my back as I slowly layed on it to keep it from moving. Zara sat down in another chair and put on the tv. We started to watch it together for a little while.

Tom's POV

I called Harrison to get me earlier from the hospital. He was confused as to why I was there. I told him about y/n's back and how she was getting an MRI and how she has a huge horrible looking bruise around her spine. He didn't really appreciate the amount of details I made sure to give him, but felt bad for y/n. I was looking out the window of the passengers side thinking about her. How worried she must be right now considering that I'm worried and she's the one with the injury. "Tom.." Haz stopped my thoughts. "What." I glanced his way. "It wasn't your fault. You didn't see her coming towards the door and you couldn't have known that it would turn out this way." He was reassuring me. I knew it wasn't my fault but I still felt like it was. "Yeah I know, I just feel really bad and I wish there was something I could do." I looked away from him so he wouldn't see the sad expression on my face.

"All you can do is check up on her, but try not to be to much cause she probably needs rest." He sighed. The car ride was a short one and soon we were home. It was around lunch time so we cooked some food. I don't know why I couldn't stop thinking about her. I think maybe I just feel bad that her back is as bad as it is. I was wondering if she was home yet or not cause it's been almost a couple of hours from the time I left to now after cooking and eating lunch to sitting and thinking to much. I need to text her.

Your POV

I was falling asleep while watching tv. The ice on my back had melted enough I couldn't feel it. The pain killers started to kick in. I was a second away from falling asleep when my phone buzzed. Ella picked it up from the table and saw that it was Tom. She gave it to me and then I opened it. "Hey y/n are you home yet? Are you okay??" His text seemed really worried. I honestly don't understand why he is so worried. I mean I understand he feels bad but it's not like my back is broken! I started typing. "Yeah, my friends helped me home and I'm okay just tired and bored." I hit send and closed my eyes for a few seconds. I fell asleep.
