Chapter Fourteen

Tom's pov

We finally figured out that y/n fainted from lack of blood and water. She didn't have to go to the hospital or anything, but I am not gonna leave her out of my sight. I am not sure though how that's going to work cause I unfortunately have to leave her to go back to work in a few days. It's been two weeks already and I'm supposed to leave the day after tomorrow. I am sad that I have to leave y/n now that we finally kissed and I know she feels the same. At least I have the next day with her. I'm hoping she will agree to staying here with me and my family until I leave and maybe after so that my family could help her in my absence. I know she has friends to help her but they haven't been around much lately cause of work and well, cause they want to leave her with me so something will happen between us which it already did.

Y/n is still having a hard time walking and needs help with certain things but I can't help her when I'm not there. I still feel bad that I caused all this for her, I never knew something so simple and small could lead to this. I started helping her cause of my guilt but out of guilt I started to really care and out of caring I started to almost love. I can't say that I love her because I am unsure, considering it's only been two weeks since we met even though it's felt like two months.... "Tom? Tom?" She was snapping me out of my thoughts. "Yeah?" I stopped many thoughts, to answer.

"Are we going to eat dinner now? I'm starving and I think it's almost done." She moved closer to the edge of the couch. "Uh yes love, you stay here while I go see if it's ready!" I took her hand in mine for a second and pressed my lips against her hand, making her cute little smile come back again. Letting her hand go I went to the kitchen where Mum, Harry, and Paddy were talking. "Mum? Is dinner ready?" I leaned on the counter a little. "Yeah Sam and Dad are getting the burgers off the grill right now and I just finished the salad while I caught the boys up on how y/n is doing." She smiled as Harry and Paddy were listening. "So uh, how is she right now? Do you know what else caused her to black out?" Paddy asked before anyone else got a chance.

"She's hungry, um and she didn't drink much water today so we were thinking that's what caused it beside loosing more blood than normal." I smiled a little to show them everything was good now. She is good now aside from pain still. "We?" Harry raised his eye brows with wide eyes. "Uh.." I scratched the back of my head. "Yeah, well we figured it out together, and uh I guess maybe we are together..now." I smiled at the words that came out of my mouth knowing exactly what I said, meaning every word.

"Well look at that he finally convinced y/n to date him!" Harry laughed making Paddy laugh even harder than him. "The one date Tom didn't land at first site!" Paddy slapped his hand on his knee as he bent down a little in laughter. "Alright boys enough, I quite like her and anyway you Paddy should be helping with getting dinner on the table as you Harry and Tom should go help y/n to her seat!" Mum instructed us all with a stern yet happy tone.

"Let's go get Y/n shall we? Be gentle though and slow, cause we don't want anything else to happen today! To her I mean." I made sure Harry understood even though I knew he would be careful with her. He rolled his eyes as we walked back into the living room where y/n was already trying to get up, successfully standing but not moving anywhere fast.

Your pov

I heard lots of laughing from the kitchen, most of it I think was Paddy. I don't know why it took so long to figure out if dinner was ready or not. I didn't wanna wait any longer and so I started to get up off the couch. It was pretty easy except I didn't take many steps, as I was very slow trying not to aggravate my body cause it was sore, painful, and bruised. As soon as I took a few steps still leaning on the couch I heard Tom saying something to someone, probably one of his brothers. "We don't want anything else to happen today! To her I mean." He was talking about me and it sounded like he was concerned. Now I wonder what he says about me to his family when I'm not around. I mean I don't think I've ever done anything remotely bad so hopefully it's all good things.
