Chapter Thirteen

Warning: slight mentions of blood and a little fainting

Tom's pov

I shook her shoulders again to wake her up. It's already been about ten minutes that she fainted. "Y/N. Y/N. WAKE UP Darling. Wake up please." I took her hand and squeezed it with mine again. As soon as I squeezed her hand I saw her eyes slowly open. "Y/n?" I whispered. "Hmhmm.. ow ow ow." She cupped her head with the hand I wasn't holding trying to get up. "Hey hey hey, take it easy." I gently pushed her back down on the couch. "How do you feel honey?" Mum asked touching her shoulder. "Ah I- my head..it hurts so bad." Y/n squeezed her eyes shut for a moment and then looked at me with scared eyes. "Wha- what happened?" She now took her hand away from mine as she used both hands to cup her forehead.

"Well, you blacked out while I was helping you to the couch before we could sit down and I caught you." I informed her as I was now sitting on the floor next to the couch instead of kneeling down like I was earlier, holding her hand. Now everyone was relaxed that she was awake and sitting in the living room waiting to hear exactly what's wrong with y/n. "Oh uh, I'm so sorry I don't know what's wrong with me!" She now was slightly sitting up with the help of my mum and she looked upset that she passed out in front of us. I don't know why she was upset because nothing was her fault. "No no no no no, it's ok darling your fine!" I looked her in the eyes before moving towards her giving her a hug.

She squeezed me tight like she was relieved now that she was in my arms. I pulled away as we both smiled at one another and as I sat down next to her. "Y/n do you know why maybe this happened?" My Dad asked her, concerned. "I'm not exactly sure, uh I mean I ate breakfast and dinner so it couldn't have been that, and I didn't take any more medicine then normal." She looked confused and a little scared. "Didn't you say you were feeling weak earlier?" I inched a little closer to her taking her hand in mine while cupping it with my other hand. She lowered her hand with mine pressing them against the couch cushion. " um..yeah I actually might know why that was but it couldn't have been the reason for me fainting, there's gotta be something more that caused it."

She looked away from me and was now looking at my mum.

Your pov

My head is still pounding, my tongue is dry, my back is incredibly sore and hot, and my lower stomach is really achy. I knew that part of the reason why I fainted was probably because I started loosing more blood on my period than normal which normal for me is barely anything for others. I didn't want to tell everyone that though cause for some reason i was embarrassed to tell a bunch of boys that I have been loosing more blood lately on my period and that's maybe why I fainted. Tom kept looking at me like I was glass, Nikki was standing over me wanting to do anything I needed her to do, Dom was asking me questions as to what might be wrong, and Sam, Harry, and Paddy all were sitting in chairs looking really worried. "Well what is it darling?" Tom asked eagerly while squeezing my hand that he held in his two.

"Uh... could I maybe talk to your mum in private you guys?" I tried not to sound suspicious but everyone looked at me like I was hiding something. Tom looked a little mad that I wanted to talk with his mum instead of him but he didn't know why. "Uhh.. yeah okay, we'll leave you two. Come on guys." Tom got up leaving my hand with chills as he took him warm hands away, and his brothers and Dad following behind. Nikki sat down next to me where Tom was and I turned my body towards her.

"What is it y/n? What do you want to talk about?" She sounded concerned and worried, almost like I was her own daughter but not quite. I cleared my throat so that my words would come out as clear as possible. "Well, I know that part of the reason why I fainted was because I- I have been bleeding a lot more than normal on my period, and it's nothing to worry about cause I was barely bleeding before it started happening but I was just embarrassed to tell everyone cause they wouldn't really understand. Cause they are boys." I looked down a little at my hands which were fiddling with my thumbs. I felt really awkward talking about my period with Tom's Mum.

"Well it's good to hear that nothing is seriously wrong, but now we have to find what else caused it!" She was very sweet, I could tell where Tom got it from. "I don't know what could have caused it, but what do I tell the boys, would they be weird if I told them about my period?" I whispered to her coming a little closer so no one else could hear but her. "Y/n each one of them except Paddy is a grown man, if they are weird about it then they need to get over themselves. Now let's think. What could have caused you to faint other than losing more blood than normal?" Wow, I wasn't expecting Nikki to say that, I honestly kinda wanted to laugh and I did. We laughed a little together, smiling at what she just said.

"I think maybe we should have Tom come back in the room cause he was with me all day, he could probably help us figure out what went wrong!" I suggested, hoping she would agree and that Tom could actually help me. "Yeah, that is a great idea. Tom.. Tom.. could you come here please?" She yelled for him after agreeing with me. "Yes, I'm coming." He yelled back as he walked from the backyard into the living room. The door must have been open, gosh I hope they didn't hear anything. I mean I am still gonna have to tell them all but it's not fun to have them listening before.

"What is it, is y/n okay? What did she tell you?" He practically jogged in, and stood right above me while looking at his mum, touching my shoulder gently while looking down at me. "Relax Tom, it's really nothing, I just needed to tell her first cause she is the only other woman in this house right now." He looked confused, but very curious. "What do you mean by that?" He questioned me. I looked at his cute little worried puppy dog chocolate brown eyes, wanting to answer but hesitant to do so. "Um....well I was telling your Mum about how I have been.. bleeding more than normal on my period and how that is partly why I fainted, but it's nothing to worry about cause I use to barely bleed on it so now it's more normal I guess. It's just that with all the extra pain and now extra blood, my body isn't feeling to good."

I looked down from him and glanced at Nikki giving her a weak awkward smile.
Nikki smiled back and got up as Tom sat in her place next to me. "Shall I go tell the others while you and Tom try to figure out what else could have caused it?" She questioned me wanting to know if I would be okay with the boys knowing about my lady cycle, (we'll put it that way). "Uh y-yeah that's fine, thank you Mrs Holland." We both smiled at one another again. "Of course, no problem darling." She walked away to the backyard where they all were.

"So, do you remember me doing anything out of the ordinary today that could have caused me to faint, or maybe something I didn't do?" I focused my attention on Tom, so I could clearly hear anything that could help get to what made me black out. Well what made me black out other than painfully loosing blood. "Uh I don't remember anything you did that wasn't normal, maybe it was something you forgot to do, like um drinking water cause that is something that causes black outs?" He looked like he was thinking pretty hard, it was kinda funny. I laughed at him a little and he was so confused which made him look even more funny.

"Hey, why are you laughing at me?" He was trying to look mad but he couldn't stop himself from smiling at me and joining me with laughing to. "Hahaha. ha. Nothing, it just looked like you were using your brain a little to hard and it was funny in a cute way." Normally I would be worried that I just called him cute but we went passed I think your cute, when we kissed a couple of hours ago.

"You think that was funny Uh? You think I'm cute? Oh really? Well I bet your cute when I do this!" He quickly came closer, tickling my stomach and my sides, making me laugh a lot but eventually it hurt. As soon as his fingers started tickling my stomach and sides it felt funny and made me giggle, but I was still in pain and sore from my back and my cramps so it wasn't such a good idea on his part. "Heheha. Ha. Ow. ow." He immediately pulled his hands away as his smile faded. I wrapped my arms tight around my waist.

"Oh I'm sorry darling, I forgot!" He looked like a sad little puppy now.
"It's okay, I'm okay. But uh, I was thinking before you.. did that. Do you remember if I drank water today?" I loosened my grip around my waist and looked up into his eyes, questioning him, hoping he knew the answer. "Now that, I'm thinking about it... no. You didn't drink much water today. That and you loosing more blood is probably why you fainted!" Finally we knew why I blacked out and Tom didn't seem the least bit bothered about thinking and talking about my period for some reason! I'll admit it was weird talking to him about it cause I have never talked to a guy about it before let alone one that actually cared.

"Oh few, I'm so glad it was nothing serious cause I don't need anything more right now!" I took a deep breath, smiling at Tom while he smiled back.
