Chapter Twenty

Your pov

How could this happen? Me of all people? It's only been two weeks he will probably break it off! How could he though, he seemed to care a lot for someone he has only known for two weeks. Is it to soon?
My mind ran with thoughts as Dom, Tom's dad drove away from the airport. Maybe he cares for me because he pushed me with that door and feels bad. I kept thinking negative thoughts. Each one felt like a small needle was being added to my head making it ache with pain. How could I fall for someone so fast? I feel like I've known him my whole life.

"Y/n? Y/n are you okay?" Dom was trying to snap me out of my trance. "Oh ahh. Yeah sorry, I was just thinking!" I smiled a little. "Oh ok, well we are back so time to get out of the car!" He opened his door then walked around to open mine as I unbuckled myself and gave him my arm as he slowly lead me back inside the house. Sam was there to open the door. I knew I was still in pain but everything almost felt numb. My mind was frozen. My body felt limp. I was completely fine, as fine as a girl with a horribly bruised painfully achy back can be.

I sat down with the rest of the Hollands and ate breakfast. The rest of the day was a blur. I barely talked to anyone as they tried their best to distract me and help me around. Eventually I just told everyone I was super tired and shut myself in the room I was in but I didn't go to sleep. I laid down carefully on the bed after Sam helped me to the bed, walked away and shut the door. I just laid there, staring at the ceiling. My body might need a doctor but my mind is what felt like needed it more. My stomach was growling at me, I wasn't hungry though. I skipped dinner but it wasn't a big deal cause I ate breakfast and lunch and i did not have an appetite to put anything in my body except maybe water.

     (An hour later)

I couldn't go to sleep. I knew at some point I needed to but I couldn't. I heard a knock at the door. "Y/n ? Are you sleeping?" I heard a teenagers voice. Paddy opened the door a crack. I didn't answer. He came in anyway. "What are you doing y/n?" He walked towards the bed and sat down at the end of it. "Nothing really. What's up Paddy?" I slowly sat up a little. "Nothing I was just checking in on you to see how you were feeling and cause... Tom called." He said the last few words a little slower then the rest. I looked at him a little surprised. He smiled a bit. "What did he say?" I was curiously asking.

"He just said he was off the plane and got there okay. He also asked how you were and we told him you were sleeping so he said to tell you that he'll talk to you tomorrow!" Paddy informed me. "Okay, thanks Paddy." I smiled a little again and laid back down more on my side. "How are you? Also Mum wants to know if your hungry cause you didn't eat dinner with us?" He sounded a little concerned. "I'm okay, and no I'm not hungry thanks!" I told him and yawned after. "Are you sure? I could grab some food for you real quick?" He didn't sound convinced that I wasn't hungry. "Yeah, thanks though." I smiled and closed my eyes.

"Okay, well you gonna sleep?" He sounded curious. "Um I'm gonna try to why?" I sat up a little. "Oh, well I was wondering if you wanna watch something with all of us downstairs? I could help you get down there of course!" He was now sitting up from the end of the bed and coming closer to me. "Uh sure why not. I haven't been able to get to sleep lately anyway!" I smiled while trying to sit up and get off the bed.

Paddy let me lean on his shoulders while we both walked as fast as I could walk down stairs. It took a while and he was quite patient with me, almost better than Tom was this morning. "Oh hey, look who decided to join us!" Nikki blurted out with joy. Paddy allowed me to sit down right at the end of the couch while he took a seat next to me. I smiled at everyone as they all seemed happy I was there. I didn't deserve this amount of love from people I barely knew. I guess I'm lucky Tom was the one who pushed me down onto that hard cafe floor and not someone who wouldn't take care of me as well as he and his family have been.
