Sarah POVSince Nate dropped that bomb and stormed into his bedroom, i was speechless, and full of thoughts and wonders.
Why hadn't he told me how he really felt instead of lying about wanting this child?
Should i get an abortion?
Move out?
Is he going to break up with me?
Was he pretending to be happy about this child the entire time?
What the fuck do i do?
In moments like this, is where you need a mother to guide you. Unfortunately, i didn't have one, but i did have Nate's Mother, who surprisingly likes me for some reason.
She over heard the majority of the fights that Nate and i've had, and she gives pretty good advice. Plus, she's really supportive.
"Hey, Sarah. Don't worry about it, i know my son and he'll get over it." She sighs as she hands me a cup of chai tea.
"I don't know. I was kinda in the wrong this time. I mean, i never fully considered his feelings when i was deciding whether or not i was keeping our child..is that wrong of me for putting myself first?"
She laughs as she sips her tea.
"Honey, no! It's your body, your choice. If you want the damn child, keep it. It's up to Nate if he doesn't want to be involved. Plus, you said you'd want it either way, even if he really wasn't involved. Right?"
Yeah, she was right, but i'd honestly prefer to have and raise our child together.
"I mean, yeah but i'd rather him be involved. But honestly, like you said, it's fully his choice."
"Exactly my point! It's his choice, you have nothing to worry about hun. He's just stressed out and is taking his anger out on you."
"I get why he's stressed, but why angry?"
"He's just an angry guy, he needs some time to himself but i promise you he wants this child as much as you do. I just know everything will turn out the way it's supposed to."
i nod my head in response.
"Thank you so much, Marsha. This meant a lot, you know, just knowing that someone is actually rooting for us."
"Anytime honey, i'll be right here if you need me." She pats my shoulder and heads upstairs.
Her advice was a coat of sugar, but it wasn't the actual thing i needed to hear. I just needed to fix all of the problems in my life to truly be happy.
I had so much shit on my mind, but i couldn't make any decisions without Nate since this child was half his.
Instead of worrying about Nate, i wanted to try fixing something, something that was worth saving. Maddy.
She deserved to know what was going on. I know that i was the last person that she wanted to see or ever hear from, but a text message is better than nothing, right?
Later that day, Nate finally approached Sarah with a knife.
"W-what are you doing daddy Nate?"
He came closer to her, face to face.
"I'ma fuck you mama until her ass is green and then ima kill you nigga hoe." He sang.
"Oh my god your singing is amazing daddy!"
He liked that I found his singing sexy so he continued.
"NIGGA NIGGA MAMAMAAAAA" He sang
"Wait Nate- we aren't black. Don't say Nigga..NIGGA NIGGA MAMAAA" Now i know i said it was wrong to say, but it was cute.
THE END!!
I can't believe this story has finally come to an end. I love you mommies.
