Chapter Eleven - I Love You

Maddy: "I fucking feel good." Maddy spoke confidently as she posed in the mirror trying on a black tight fitted dress.

"You should."

Kat: "That dress looks fucking amazing!"

Maddy: "You guys are too sweet..should i buy it!"

"Of course! You gotta make those guys hungry."

Maddy: "Or make Nate jealous." She smirked

Kat: "Thats a wonderful idea. The party on Friday you could wear this and dance with other guys in front of him."

Maddy: "Oh my fucking god YES! That would definitely piss him off."

I didn't want to play part in this conversation. I didn't have the guts to tell Maddy yet, even though i knew that eventually i would have to tell her, this wasn't the right time. So i just stood there awkwardly and kept my
mouth shut.

Maddy: "Sarah, why the fuck are you so quiet? You're usually the loudest person here."

Kat: "Yeah and you've been acting like..really weird lately."

"What? No i haven't. I'm always like this." I said confidently hoping it didn't sound like a lie. I'm very bad at lying.

Maddy: "Bitch, you better be joking. You haven't messaged us in a whole week, until today. You also barley spoke a word, you don't live at your Mom's house anymore because we tried to look for you and she said you moved out so god knows where you live now. Should i continue?"

I gulped. I was speechless. I didn't know how to reply, because all of the answers would lead to Nate. Shit.

"That was because i left my phone at Jules' house so i couldn't text anyone. Also i live at Jules' house now and i'm quiet because i'm tired as fuck. Does that answer all of your questions?"

Kat: "Wait- if you left your phone at Jules' house then how couldn't you message us if you live there.."

Maddy and Kat stared dead into my eyes. Thanks for pointing that out Kat. Damn i really do suck at lying. Which isn't really a bad thing, except for when you're stuck in these situations.

"I- i misplaced it. I couldn't find my phone for a whole week because it was dead and under her bed."

Kat: "Ohh."

That "ohh" sounded so fake.

Maddy: "Okay..just stop acting weird, we miss the old Sarah."

Maddy said as she hugged me. I love maddy, which is why i'm so fucking scared to tell her, i don't want to ruin what we have.

*Later that day*

Nate: "Sarah you didn't cover the hickey on your neck, did Maddy see it today?" Nate says as he kisses my forehead while cuddling in his bed.

"Yeah. She also knows we're in a relationship." I say sarcastically but he looks dead serious.

Nate: "What? You told her? What did-"

"Jeez Nate it was a fucking joke, calm down."

Nate: "That wasn't fucking funny Sarah." He says annoyed.

"I know, sorry.."

Nate: "You know if she finds out, she's going to kill you. She'll actually get fucking violent."

"Nate, that's if she finds out herself. Maybe if we actually tell her the truth she won't be as pissed."

Nate: "I don't know, she might never talk to you again."

"Nate, stop. I don't want to hear shit like that."

Nate: "I'm just being honest." He says as he tries to kiss me but i back away since i'm annoyed.

"Well, don't. And you know Nate, you should be thanking me. I'm risking my friendship for you."

Nate: "I never asked you to, you wanted this too Sarah, stop trying to make it sound like everything is my fucking fault."

"I never said it was your fault, i was 'just being honest'." I smirk knowing it was his word against himself. He looks fucking pissed right now, but honestly i didn't have time for his bullshit.

Nate: "Could we not do this right now? Just not fight for one night."

"Okay."

Nate: "Okay." He says as he pulls me back on top of him.

"What do you wanna do?"

"What do you think?" He smirks as he pulls me closer to him as we start to make out..until someone just had to ruin the mood.

Aaron: "Nate do you- oh sorry for interrupting." I quickly rolled off of Nate as soon as i heard that door open.

Nate: "What Aaron." He said with an annoyed tone.

Aaron: "I was just wondering if you wanted some of my protein shake.."

Nate: "No i'm good."

"Wow i've never seen Aaron acting so nice before." I comment sarcastically which causes Nate to laugh and Aaron to roll his eyes.

Aaron: "Whatever, slut."

"What the f-"

Nate: "Wanna say that again?" Nate threatens as he gets off the bed to be face to face with his brother, except Nate was way taller which caused him to tower over him.

Aaron: "No, sorry." He mutters as he leaves. Nate slams the door and elbows it, it's clear he's full of anger.

"Nate calm down, he's literally said worse to me before."

Nate: "He has?! When?" He's practically yelling, but this shows how much he cares about me. I know he has my back and i completely trust him. So i pull him close and kiss him softly.

Nate: "What was that for?" He says just above a whisper.

"I just love how much you care about me."

Nate: "Is that all you love?" He smirks

"You say it first."

Nate: "I already did yesterday, now it's your turn."

"Iloveyou." I said it so fast it sounded like one long word so that he could barley hear it which causes us to laugh.

Nate: "What was that, i couldn't hear you?"

"I love you." I say it full of love this time, and i know he got the message once i notice his eyes are starting to water.

"Nate, are you okay?" I ask as i cup his face between my hands.

Nate: "Yeah, i'm okay. I'm just in love."

And with that we kiss, for a very long time. He kisses me like it's the last one ever.
