With a final click, the van door closed. Everything (Y/n) was organizing in the early afternoon was finished with the door closed. The girl was now looking on her old cell phone, browsing the messaging app that she and her client texted. She warned Eliza a few minutes ago about her departure to go to the party venue.
The girl with the now neat hair and new clothes was heading towards the front doors of the van, planning to get inside and get the address of the house on her GPS, which was far away since (Y/n) didn't recognize the location.
Now inside the van, (Y/n) set the address on the GPS as she had planned and closed the door, putting the key in the ignition she started the van and started to maneuver the van with the steering wheel so she could get out through the gate. With the van out, the girl was quick to look both ways and check if any cars would pass, seeing no sign of them, she wasted no time in opening the door and getting out of the van to run and close the gate, as it was manual one.
Going inside the van, (Y/n) looked both ways and started her path, heading right, towards the street corner. The GPS started talking and gave information on how to get to the place of the party. The girl just needed to arrive on the same street as the party, as it would be obvious where the party would be since Eliza said that the entrance to the house will be decorated.
The girl's playlist started to play, several different songs from albums by different artists and bands, (Y/n)'s music taste was diverse in a way, the song would be added to her playlist depending on the rhythm or lyrics.
The girl was focused on the road, every now and then she looked around, not for long for fear of turning the steering wheel along with her eyes. The girl came close to a speed bump and slowed as she passed it. Only a noise in the back of the van made (Y/n) remember her equipment back there.
Looking in the rearview mirror, the girl peered through a slit in a curtain that kept the front and back separate. She looked inside and saw the silhouette of her beloved droid resting in the folding hand truck. Sun was now turned off for the trip, to keep his battery full but also to be safer, as he was securely attached to the folding hand truck.
Looking forward again the girl took a deep breath and ended up forgetting to put her seat belt. (Y/n) paused and since she was on a straight road, she took the time to buckle up.
Sun would probably complain about it if he was active, and it made (Y/n) huff happily. She quickly thought of her and Sun going out for a drive around, as it wouldn't be a bad idea, it would be good for Sun.
The girl looked around, already arriving in an area more used by people, it had been a while since she passed near the center of the city. And it was already full of cars on the road, as it was afternoon the streets were to be expected to be more used now.
Stopping at the light, the girl paused a little and sighed as she stretched back. She thought about what might happen this afternoon. She hoped nothing more would happen. Sun would go there, interact with the kids, play with them, and then it was over. It was what (Y/n) wanted to happen, for no errors to occur.
And even if it did, she would be there to prevent it. That's why she's organized and tidy, because she's going to the party, keeping things in order. The problem is that the probability of her having to interact with people would be high.
With an annoyed grunt, (Y/n) continued driving as the light turned green. (Y/n) didn't want to talk to people, interacting with them was something the girl just couldn't. Machines? Yes. People? Leave it for another day.
"Uhm..." Humming along to the music she was playing made the girl's nerves go down. Raising her hand and running her fingers through her neat hair in a way to get it back together and also to calm her, did the trick.
