It's bright and early in the morning and Phoenix is deep in his slumber as Jett yells for him to wake up from his door banging on it nearly kicking it open
"I'm up!" Phoenix yelled still comfortably laying in his bed. He's gotten pretty used to being woken up like this since the wind girl would always want to spare early in the mornings or go for a jog.
"Come onnnnn get up, ik your still laying in bed!" Replied the wind girl
"I'm taking a break from your morning routines today, I'm soooo tired" Phoenix said as he rolled over to his side a bit annoyed.
"But the new guy is finally gonna be here soon! The helicopter is gonna land any second now and I thought you wanted to meet him as soon as possible! But I guess since your soooo tired your just gonna have to miss him and have to wait till next time to meet hi--" Jett was barley able to finish the sentence before Phoenix barged open the door and ran past her fully clothed and ready to meet the new guy
"Come on Jett! What are you waiting for?! Or am I just faster than you?" Phoenix smerked initiating a little contest between the two of who can get to the helicopter pad first
"Oh your on fire boy!" Jett replied excitedly ready for the challenge as she ran down the hall dashing forward to catch up to Phoenix
As they both reached the helicopter pad catching their breathes they saw the helicopter coming in and slowly landing.
Finally the helicopter landed and Phoenix being as excited as he was couldn't wait till the new guy stepped out and so he ran up to it to give him a surprise greet
"Btw he's awkward when it comes to interacting with others and a little cold!" Jett yelled from a far as Phoenix ran to the new guy.
Seeing the guy step out Phoenix intended to give him a surprise greeting by just waving to him and then introducing himself but he ended up tripping and knocking the new guy over. Phoenix was now on top of him looking down at him looking into the new guys eyes.
"Uh...hi..nice to meet you.." Phoenix couldn't help but feel embarrassed that this was the first impression he was making but not only that, Phoenix couldn't stop staring at him because for some reason he found the guy extremely attractive.
(Attractive? No...) Phoenix thought in his head. How could he find someone he just met and not even exchange words with him yet so attractive.
"Get off me you idiot" the new guy said in an angry and direct tone. Phoenix blushed by the fact that he hasn't gotten off the guy yet.
He got off the man and immediately apologized "I'm so sorry bruv, I really didn't mean to knock you over like that, I was just really excited to meet someone new. Here, let me help you up"
Phoenix held out his hand to the man to help him up. The man thought about it for a second hesitating but shortly after grabbing his hand. Phoenix then pulled the man up and introduced himself.
"The name is Grant Galloway but my name here for Valorant is Phoenix"
Phoenix held out his hand once again but not to help the man up but to shake his hand
The man takes out a butterfly hair comb and flicks it open fixing up his hair, after fixing it he reaches out for Phoenixs hand and shakes it
"Yoru" the man replied looking at Phoenix with a kind of annoyed expression
Brimstone walked up to them quite amused "you boys took quite the tumble haha. Phoenix since you seem to be awfully close with our friend Yoru already, why don't you show him around and also help him find his way to his room."
"Leave it to the boss, come on bruv let's have some fun." As Phoenix finished what he was saying starting to walk away he stopped in his place and turned back to Brimstone
"Uh...so like, where is his room?" Phoenix asked embarrassed
"Remember that empty room right next to yours? You both will be right next to each Incase one or the other needs a little attention again" brimstone chuckled while yoru just sighed and grumbled since he had to be shown around by the firebird
"Can you just hurry up and show me to my damn room already" Yoru said in a harsh tone and looking at Phoenix directly in the eyes
"Patients mate the room can wait I got something way cooler and important to show you, just follow me" as Phoenix finished what he was saying he started to walk off inside the base
Yoru followed the firebird with a grim look on his face and tried to prepare himself for the rest of the day
This was my first fanfic! Hope whoever reads this enjoys. I barley see any Yoru x Phoenix stuff around like this so I wanted to give it a whirl.
