After a while of holding each other and enjoying each other's presence Phoenix had to go and take a shower since he only just got back from a mission

The firebird wanted to see Yoru to ease his mind and cravings that he had before needing to wait even longer to see him hence why he was looking everywhere for Yoru

"Butterfly..I have to go shower, can you let go of me?" Phoenix whispered softly in Yorus ear

The riftwalker blushed "ah...yes, take your time" Yoru let's go of Phoenix even though he didn't want to let go yet

"Come by my room after like 20 minutes have past, I shouldn't be too long, does that sound alright to you?" Phoenix ran his fingers through the riftwalkers hair and smerked "or you wanna come with me?"

"W-what, why would I wanna do that" Yoru stutters and blushes a deeper red from the thoughts that flooded his mind and the event from the last time they were in a shower together

"Just to chat and maybe scrub each others back, it can be quite relaxing at times and also less boring" Phoenix says in a playful tone but then changes it to a flirty one as he caresses the riftwalkers cheek "what is it butterfly, why are you blushing so much? Hm~ do you want to do something else in the showers with me?" Phoenix gets close to Yorus face almost connecting his lips with the riftwalkers

Yoru freezes and looks at the firebirds lips but then quickly looks away from how nervous he was "y-you should go shower now, we'll talk later" the riftwalker gently grabs the firebirds hand that's on his cheek and places it against Phoenixs side

"Suit yourself, cya later bruv" Phoenix says as he walks out of the shooting range and heads to the showers

"Hah..." Yoru pulls his butterfly hair comb out and flicks it open to fix the hair that the Firebird messed up from running his fingers through the riftwalkers hair. He finishes fixing it and then places his hand on his cheek where Phoenix placed his slightly larger hand on.

Yoru could feel how hot his cheeks were and was embarrassed but at the same time, he was really happy. He enjoyed the firebirds touch and could never have enough. Yoru sighed and headed to his room where he would pass the time till he got to see the firebird again.

Yoru put a little timer on his phone for 20 minutes so he knew when to go check if the firebird got back from the shower, for the entire 20 minutes the riftwalker just laid in his bed and hugged his pillow till the timer went off.

When it went off Yoru sprung out of bed and grabbed his phone to turn it off. The riftwalker then walked to the firebirds room (which was right next to his) and knocked on his door but there was no response

"Hello..? Phoenix?" Yoru knocked again and waited but there was still no response. "Hmm..." Yoru turned the knob of Phoenixs door and noticed it was unlocked. (Should I go in..? He wouldn't mind...right?) The riftwalker thought about it for a second and then just opened the firebirds door.

Something that the riftwalker found cute was the bed, it had sheets with a flame type design on them. Yoru closed the door behind him so no one saw that he was in Phoenixs room and then felt the sheets of the bed

(They're so soft, I wonder if...I would ever lay down with Phoenix on his bed...) Yoru blushed a little at the thought

The riftwalker looked at the door and then back at the bed (It wouldn't hurt just to lay in it for a second, I'll fix it up right after I get off) Yoru got into the firebirds bed and laid down comfortably. He laid his head on one of the pillows and smiled as he dug his head into it, it had the firebirds sweet scent on it. All Yoru could do was smile and feel like he was floating on a cloud.

Even though it was the same mattress as his bed Yoru found the firebirds bed to be more comfortable just because of the sheets that smelled like the man that he was craving more and more each day.

(Where is he..?) The riftwalker yawned and as time passed Yoru couldn't help but to just slowly fall asleep in Phoenixs bed

Phoenix was still in the shower just standing there as the hot water rained on him. The firebird was trying to calm down, he was excited to see the riftwalker again but that wasn't the only thing that was excited...

Phoenix wanted to calm down before seeing the riftwalker again because it would be embarrassing for the firebird if Yoru noticed such a thing

Yes Yoru has seen Phoenixs Junk out in the open but this was different. It was an accident that both of them even saw each other naked like that and this time it was just gonna be Yoru and him talking in the firebirds room. ("What would Yoru think if he saw me erect just because I was looking at him or being really close to him..? It would just be really embarrassing")

Phoenix grabbed his dick and let out a small noise ("what if Yoru grabbed me like this...") Thoughts of the riftwalker filled his head, the Firebird has been pent-up ever since the event in the showers with Yoru. The only thing that was keeping his mind distracted from this was the mission but Everytime he saw the riftwalker he just wanted to take a bite out of him. The firebird was going to be patient though, for now the only goal with Yoru was to spend more time with him and maybe at some point kiss

Phoenix smiles at the thought of kissing the riftwalker, there's been many times where they could have kissed but the firebird didn't really know if that was what the riftwalker wanted.

Phoenix sighed and felt embarrassed that he had his hand on his junk while thinking of Yoru, the firebird blushed and just gave up on trying to calm himself down. He finished up his shower and dried himself up, with only a towel wrapped around his waist he headed to his room.

Phoenix opened his door then closed it as he took off the towel that was around his waist to then put a pair of boxers on. He then sat on the bed but then immediately stood back up. There was something under the sheets ("did I stuff laundry under the sheets again because I didn't wanna fold them before leaving on the mission?") Phoenix sighed and then uncovered what was under the blanket

Phoenix was shocked to see that it was the riftwalker fast asleep with a grumpy look on his face as he slept

Phoenix smiled ("ah..this would be nice to get used to") the firebird climbed into the bed with Yoru slowly to try not to wake him up and wrapped his arms around the smaller man

Phoenix kissed Yorus forehead and then closed his eyes, both men fell asleep together for the second time
