Once Phoenix and Yoru got to the site it was already half way through the day. They both just decided to Scout out the area and become fimilar with it. The place used to be a lab but it was abandoned a few months ago. Other than the lab the whole area was covered in snow and it was freezing cold. It kinda resembles ice box by a little bit but not much.
After scouting out the area they realize that it hasn't been long since someone was last there by finding a campfire that looks like it was put out not to long ago. After an hour of searching for someone they decided to take a break. They both decided to rest inside of the abandoned lab and once they entered there was a blizzard outside
Yoru was trying not to show how cold he was but Phoenix was able to spot it almost immediately
Phoenix smerked "You alright there mate? I could warm you up if you want"
"Shut up and hold out some fire or something before I make a fire with your jacket as fuel"
"Aye come on, I was just trying to help. Don't you want my amazing body cuddled up next to yours? I bet you've been daydreaming about it ever since we got here" Phoenix gets close to Yoru and forces a hug on him warming him up slightly and then letting go
"If you were gonna do that you could have at least fully warmed me up asshole" Yoru blushes as he starts to shiver again from the cold
"Ugh come here, it's quicker anyway" Yoru mumbles and puts himself in Phoenixs arms
The firebird blushed as he was surprised since Yoru just basically threw himself into his arms.
"Ah! To hot, your burning me you idiot, Control yourself!" Yoru yells at the firebird that is blushing like crazy.
Phoenixs emotions are everywhere but eventually he does calm down and controls his heat, keeping a nice temperature for the riftwalker
Yoru without noticing slides his hands under Phoenixs shirt for more warmth as he buries his head in the firebirds chest
"See, I knew this was what you wanted since the beginning" Phoenix smerks as he sits down with the riftwalker in his arms.
"I'm only doing it because it's warm so get rid of that idea you came up with" Yoru says quietly as he lets the firebird just wrap his body around him
(Why am I enjoying this...he's so warm and smells so nice..it's so comforting..) Yoru gets lost in those thoughts and hides his red face in the arms of the firebird
"You can fall asleep if you want, I'll keep you warm"
Yoru looked up at the firebird and saw his face beet red. Their eyes locked for a moment till Yoru buried his face back into Phoenixs chest
"So warm..."
"Haha see, I knew you'd like it" Phoenix holds the smaller man tighter in his arms and rest his head on the riftwalkers
"Fall asleep my little butterfly" Phoenix said in a soft soothing tone in the riftwalkers ear
"I told you not to call me that" Yoru really digs his face into Phoenixs chest and bites him gently not wanting to really hurt the firebird
"Ah! Hey, what was that for. I keep you warm and this is the treatment I get" Phoenix chuckles and then smiles
"That's what you get for calling me that rediculus name again" Yoru smiles even though Phoenix can't see it with his face being buried in the firebirds chest.
"Hey if that means your gonna bury your adorable face in my chest each time I say it then I really don't mind, just not to hard and don't leave any marks. I mean unless if that's what your into then I don't mind that either" Phoenix chuckles as he teases the riftwalker
"Urusendayo (shut up) your enjoying this way to much" Yoru yawns and when he speaks his voice gets quieter and softer
"You falling asleep bruv? Aye, hellooo?" Phoenix caresses the riftwalkers right cheek and sees his adorable sleeping face, the firebird just stares and doesn't wanna look away.
(Those lips look so soft, he looks equally handsome when he's asleep as when he's awake) Phoenix blushes as he's observing and thinking about the riftwalker and glides his thumb gently across Yorus lips
"mm..." Yoru makes a little sound as hes sound asleep in the firebirds arms. It startles Phoenix and he quickly moves his hands off the riftwalkers face.
"Ah..you startled me..heh" after realizing that the riftwalker just made a little sound in his sleep he calmed down and just held Yoru tight in his arms
"I hope I can get closer to you butterfly...I'll try my hardest no matter how much you push me away" Phoenix says whispering in a soft and genuine tone
Phoenix yawns and closes his eyes
"Seems like I'ma join you in the dream world for a bit, hope you don't mind"
Phoenix makes sure that Yoru is completely covered and near his body to make sure he says warm and then slowly drifts off to sleep
