Yoru was forced to rest for a week and was forbidden to go on any missions till he got the all clear from Sage.
Since Phoenix was in perfectly good condition he was chosen to go on a mission to split. Usually brimstone would be really hesitate on sending Phoenix because of the crazy stunts he pulls but he's willing to give the firebird another chance after his long time out from going on missions.
Phoenix was away on a mission and poor Yoru was stuck at headquarters till he got the all clear from Sage, both males were missing each other more than ever.
It's the middle of the day and Yoru is laying on his bed staring at the ceiling, from the last time he saw Phoenix till now the only thing he could think of was him. From waking up in the morning to when he lays in bed for the night to sleep all the riftwalker could think about was how Phoenix was doing and if he's alright.
Yoru hugs one of his pillows and imagines that it's the firebird. The riftwalker craved the touch of the man he was falling in love with and wanted him to come back already so he could be in his arms once again.
Yoru hated to admit it but he loved the warm feeling and comfort of being in the arms of the firebird. He even loved hearing Phoenixs breaths and heartbeat as he laid on the man that smelled like burnt s'mores.
"Grant..." Yoru says as he hugs the pillow tight wanting it to be him
Time passes and Yoru can't stand being cooped up in his bed for any longer. Yoru gets up and heads to the Kitchen where he finds Chamber brewing himself a coffee
"Hello Yoru, how do you do?"
"I'm fine, just bored...having coffee this late in the day?" Yoru asked as he raised an eyebrow
"Ah yes, gotta keep myself awake somehow" Chamber lightly chuckles "wanna go to the shooting range and try out some of my guns?"
"Huh, really? I..." Yoru thought about it for a few seconds and then replied "sure why not, it'll keep my mind busy for awhile"
"Excellent, let us head over there now"
Both of them headed straight to the range and Chamber let Yoru try out his Tour de Force, a one hit kill sniper no matter where it lands.
"How is it? Powerful isn't it, one of a kind beauty, just like you." Chamber get's close to Yoru and places his hand on the riftwalkers chin to make him face him
"W-what?" Yoru is starteld by Chambers actions almost dropping the gun
"Ah careful there, here" Chamber grabs the Tour de Force and places it somewhere safe and then putting all his attention back on Yoru
"You are quite handsome Yoru and your figure is quite...how can I put this...mm pleasing to look at? Chamber takes a step closer to the riftwalker
"Ah...um...thank you but could you not get so close?" The riftwalker kept taking steps back from Chamber till he hit a wall, Chamber now had him trapped, body blocking him from leaving.
"Arnt you craving something? It's probably been a very long time since you've had some relief, I could help with that." Chamber lightly brushes the back of his hand against Yorus cheek
"I'm fine actually and even if I wasn't I'd handle it by myself so please don't ask me this again, you mind getting off of me?" Yoru tried saying in a harsh tone but in reality he was a little scared of this larger man that was trying to get his way with him
"Come on, I promise I'll pleasure you to the best of my abilities, I do not disappoint" Chamber says as he whispers in a seductive voice in Yorus ear
You could see the riftwalkers eyes get a little glossy "P-please get off m-" before Yoru could finish his sentence the automatic doors to the shooting range open and the person that comes through is nun other than the firebird himself
Phoenix was looking for Yoru everywhere wanting to see the riftwalker again but when he finally saw him again he was in the presence of another man
"P-Phoenix!" Yoru looked into the firebirds eyes
Chamber takes a step back from Yoru turning his attention to the firebird
Even though Phoenix was enraged he could see that the riftwalker was uncomfortable and almost on the verge of tears
"Aye Chamber, bruv, I need to talk with Yoru about something important so could you leave?" Phoenix says in a low and harsh tone picking up Chambers gun from where he placed it giving it to Chamber forcefully.
"Of course, I'll take my leave but Yoru" Chamber turns his head to the riftwalker "If you need me for anything, I'm here, au revoir (Goodbye)" After saying that Chamber takes his leave
"P-Phoenix..I.." Yoru looks up at the angry firebird not really knowing what to say
Phoenix walks up to Yoru and pins him to the wall with force and places his hand on the riftwalkers chin making him look directly into his eyes
"I come back and the first thing I see is you under another man? Did I not make it clear that I wanna get to know you? That I wanna be the one getting close to you? I wanna be the only man who can have you against a wall like this." Phoenix says this in a serious tone and a little after he lets out a sigh and starts to talk again but in a low and upset manner "butterfly...do you not want the same as I do...why did you let another man get so close to you like that.."
Phoenix digs his face into Yorus shoulder finally getting the smell that he's been craving for days and hugs the riftwalker tight
Yoru blushes and also wraps his arms around the firebird
"I'm sorry...I was just really shocked and froze, I wasn't thinking at all, I was extremely uncomfortable and disgusted by his touch...Grant...can you look at me?
Phoenix lifted his head out of the riftwalkers shoulder and looked Yoru in the eyes like he asked and blushed from Yoru calling him his name and also looking into those amazing eyes of his
"What is it butterfly?.." Phoenix just looked at Yoru confused on why he wanted him to look at him
Yoru hesitantly places his hand on Phoenixs cheek as he lets out a sigh of relief and then smiles
Phoenix smiles and closes his eyes as he feels the riftwalkers touch on his cheek
"I...I've miss you...all I could think about was you on my mission, the thought of you wouldn't leave my mind." Phoenix grabs Yorus hand that's not occupied and kisses it lightly with his soft lips
"G-Grant...I've missed you too..so much, I couldn't stop thinking about you either."
Phoenix smiles as his name escapes the mouth of the riftwalker once again and then hugs the smaller man
Yoru just enjoys the warmth and comfort from the firebird and hugs him back. Both just enjoying each other and finally fulfilling those cravings that the both had for each other.
