It had been thirty minutes since the funeral ended. Joel is looking around the place to try to find Short Luke. Night falls, and Joel yawns. He decides to take a rest on a bench in a park. Joel closes his eyes and lets his mind start to wonder, then he slowly starts drifting off to sleep. It's so quiet. Joel sits there peacefully until he suddenly hears rustling. He opens his eyes and scans the area. He suddenly bolts up and starts running. Joel found Short Luke, and he isn't letting him get away. Short Luke sees Joel bursting towards him, and he takes off. The two run for what feels like forever, until Joel finally corners Short Luke.
"Mind telling me why you did all of this?" Joel asks.
"You wouldn't understand, Joel", Short Luke replies. "We live in a society, a society that is a society."
"Well, yeah, that's how living works. Is that really your excuse on everything?" Joel asks.
"See? I told you that you wouldn't understand. I also have another reason: I want to get rid of every Luke out there but myself."
"Why?"
"Because every other Luke but me is irrelevant, Joel. I am the ultimate Luke."
Joel sighs, "What does that mean?"

"Wow, yeah, well that's interesting", Joel shrugs. "That's still not a reas-
Luke cuts him off, "I told you already! You wouldn't understand!" He yells. "You'll be lucky if I don't arrest you for treason!"
"Wow, treason, do you even know what that is?"
Luke snaps his head to Joel, clearly offended.
"Of course I do! I'm not an idiot!"
Joel crosses his arms, "Ah, then what does it mean?"
"It..." Luke sighs. "That's not important!"
"Ohhh, so you don't know what it means then?"
"No, I do. I just..."
Luke trails off, and his face turns more red out of embarrassment. He takes the opportunity of silence to finally run and get out of the situation. Luke books it, and Joel just lets him go. There's not much he can do to stop him anyway, so why bother? Joel gets a text about a trombone meeting happening the next day at 3:00pm.
