The Tale of Two Lukes

Chapter 7: City of Short Luke

     Short Luke is now the mayor of Cibolo, although it is no longer called that. Luke renamed the city to "Luke Is The Best and You Are Not, Cope With It", or "LITBYANTCWI" for short (Luke). Short Luke also changed Tall Luke's name from Lukas to Bartholomew out of pure spite of him. He also made it highly illegal to call him "Short Luke". The penalty for calling him that is 5 years in a county jail and 2 years straight of community service. No breaks.
    Luke sits in the town hall. He leans back and sighs as he looks out of the window. Everything is peaceful, and he hates that. His peaceful expression quickly turns to absolute fury.
    "I need violence, and I need violence now!" Luke exclaims as he gets up from his seat. "But how?" He says as he ponders.
      Luke soon gets an idea, "I know!" He says as he points his finger up. "I should burn down Clemens and then have them rely on me to fix it!"

     Meanwhile at Steele the marching band is at rehearsal. It's September 7th, 2021, a Tuesday afternoon. The drum majors are telling the band what to do as everyone but the trumpets listen. They've taken over since Short Luke is gone and the band directors died. Short Luke is not there, and everyone takes notice. They fear his return. The drum majors are careful as to what they should do next so that they don't piss off Short Luke. Everyone is getting the show down well. Now that Short Luke is gone, though, Joel has taken his place in the show. The drum majors are thinking about changing that in fear of the wrath Short Luke will bring upon them when he finds out.
      While the Steele marching band is marching, so is the Clemens marching band. Short Luke calls the fire and police department and tells all of them to go home, and that they are all fired. Every single one of them. He has to do this for his master plan. Burn Clemens, and then the town. Short Luke goes to Clemens with gasoline and a lighter. The door was unlocked for some reason. Luke concludes that it's likely to let band and athletic members in. Short Luke pours the gas out, and then lights it. He runs out of the building as it burns, and my god, it burns. No one came to help. It just burned, burned, and burned right to the ground. Students and teachers run out in terror as Short Luke takes it all in. The fire can be seen glowing and reflecting off his skin and hair. The sky goes from blue to this beautiful red color. The smoke climbs up and up and then dissipates into the sky. It was a beautiful scene. Short Luke teared up from its beauty as the building burned and as people ran out. It was truly a sight.
     Over at Steele, they had no clue what was going on, but they could see some smoke coming from Clemens' direction. They start wondering what it could be.
