Dear Diary, (Time skip)
ITS MY BIRTHDAY, I'm going to invite Sami and Cedric I really hope I get a cool pet I'm going to be turning 11 so I should be getting my Hogwarts letter soon. Giuliana told me that she would invite Isabella and Jocelyn we each get to invite two people. I'm going to have breakfast in a bit my dad told me and Giulie (Giuliana's nickname) to stay in our rooms.

"You girls can come down now" I finally heard my dad say

Me and Giuliana raced down the stairs to eat breakfast my dad got up from his chair and gave us a hug

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" He said energetically but not too loud I think he was more happy then us

"Ok so later today we are going to the Malfoy's for the party Narcessa planned for you guys but for now we are just going to hang out here with your friends"

"Sounds good has the morning paper got here?" For some reason I had always loved reading stuff

"can we have cake?" Giuliana loved birthdays for two reasons cake and presents

"Later love for now just open you gifts" I loved the gifts my dad got me exactly what I wanted it was like he could read my mind

We sat down and started to eat when the owl came and gave me the Daily Prophet (I think that's how you spell it)

I grabbed it and gave Emzy my owl a strawberry he was such a good owl I looked down and my heart stopped it was like a dream I felt my eyes fill with tears

That was all I need to read I looked at the picture below the text and saw Ben, my Ben dead in a lake his little smile gone from his face

I dropped the paper and ran to my room falling on the last step of the stairs I didn't care that I was bleeding or couldn't see straight any more I got to my room and slammed the door. Crying my little heart out
