Kalbinghús, Parfeski, Chiruna 15 September 1609, 9:00 AM
Today, the parliament, Kalbingi, is currently in another meeting. They did a meeting yesterday to discuss the situation between Romadia and Marinse, but was adjourned due to it leading to nowhere. However, the current meeting is to discuss the current information they have regarding the New World, or Gaia, as one of the Marinseans called the world.
"So, anyone wants to speak on what we've gathered so far?", asked the prime minister.
"I do, your excellency", the Minister of Defence, Axel Loftsson, said while raising his hand.
"Go ahead, minister Axel."
"After conducting several reconnaissance missions in order to get to know our surrounding lands better, we are able to map out parts of the nearest continent to us. It isn't much but at least it's better than nothing. Here's the map", said Axel as he handed out sheets of paper containing the map.

"It's quite huge (thats what she said). I think we should do more negotiations with the Marinseans in order to obtain the map of the continent or if possible, the whole world", said Haki.
"I'll take that into consideration. Other than that, I have nothing else to say."
"Good. You may sit down. Anyone else?", asked Haki.
"I do, your excellency", a man in his late 20s raised his hand. He is the Head of the Department of Space Exploration and Research, Jarvis Bælsson
"Okay then. Go ahead, mister Jarvis."
"About the Ixia Launch Vehicle project, should we abandon it or continue it? We could use it to send small satellites into orbit to observe and possibly map out this world."
The Ixia Launch Vehicle is a two-stage rocket with a height of 15.5 metres and a diameter of 1.5 metre. It is capable of sending satellites up to 120 kilograms to LEO and up to 80 kilograms to polar orbit. It was designed 2 years ago and a prototype is under development.
"Hmm... We should postpone it until our economy has recovered. Anything else?"
"Oh, and regarding the increase of oxygen in the atmosphere, it might be the reason there are larger animals such as wyverns in this world. Also, the horizon is way further than the one in our old world, another indicator that this world is larger than ours."
"Interesting... Anything else?"
"I have nothing else, your excellency."
The meeting would go on for 45 minutes as they discuss new things they discovered in Gaia.

Establishing an Embassy
Orissa, Kingdom of Marinse 15 September 1609, 1:00 PM
The Marinseans has also authorized the Chirunans to establish an embassy in Orissa. The Chirunan ambassador to Marinse, Javí Karlsson, is currently seeing as bulldozers and other types of machineries contribute to building the embassy.
A Marinsean diplomat, who was also curiously looking at the construction, came to his side and asked, "I was wondering, what are those... weird elephants over there?"
Javí responded, "Oh, those aren't elephants. Those are construction machines that helps us in constructing buildings. That one over there is a bulldozer. It can carry lots of stuff like sand and soil. That right there is an excavator, which...", he then explained most of the machines on the site in simple explanations. If he wasn't a diplomat, he would've been a construction worker.
In a large meeting room, the Emperor of Romadia, Emperor Euphemius the IV, and his generals are discussing the final plan of their invasion on Marinse.
"So, shall we repeat what was the plan, General Cyricus?", Euphemius asked.
"Of course, your majesty. *Ahem* We shall start at making an assault on one of their closest towns to our border, Leadow, and establish a forward operating camp there. After that, we will send our navy to bombard their their major ports and blockade them. This would leave them with no supplies from outside. Then we would do a siege on one of their forts, Fort Erumia, and following the capture of the fort, we shall advance towards their capital. With our superior army, navy and air force, I believe we will beat the Marinseans and unite the continent in our name!"
"Amazing. Thank you, General Cyricus. This continent belongs to us humans! Not those dirty demihumans! Do you all agree?", said Euphemius.
""""Yes, your majesty!"""", the meeting room cheered.
Suddenly, knockings came from the door of the meeting room. Few moments later, after approving the person to enter, it was a messenger and he has a thing to say.
"I'm sorry for the intruding, your majesty, but I got a message from our foreign relations minister that a fleet of ships from a nation called the Republic of Chiruna. They said they wanted to establish relations with us but they also said they've established relations with the Marinseans. How should we respond, your majesty?", asked the messenger as he finishes his report.
"They've established relations with those dirty demihumans!? We shall not let them establish contact with us. That is an order from me", said the angry Euphemius.
"Y-Yes, your majesty...", said the messenger as he exited the meeting room.
"Republic of Chiruna? Haven't heard of that country before. Must be some pirates that have established their own nation."
Later, the Romadians forced the Chirunans to leave their port which almost started a fight with them.
Little did he know, this nation will put an end to their reign. ----
A/N: thats it for today folks! i made some short stories which are like intermission before the next chapters which will be telling the inevitable war between Marinseans and Romadians. im sorry i was a bit slow. school started for me. hopefully you enjoyed it and if you want to, please provide some criticism. see ya next time!
