Chapter 1

(Alex's Pov)

(Dream)- "Ugh Jack what are we doing in this small closet?" "Oh nothing Alex don't worry about it." I sighed "okay Jac...." he smashed his lips into mine grabbing my hips pulling me closer.'

{Alarm goes off}

"Fuck, i'm going to be late for school." I rushed to grab my backpack and papers. I quickly shoved my homework into my bag, is it normal to dream about your friends like that or am I just crazy and had a crush on him? I jumped into my car and rushed to the school I have fifteen minutes till I have to be in first period. My phone began to ring it was Jack, fuck umm Alex just answer it. "hey..." I put my phone in between my ear and shoulder "Hey Alex where are you Kellin and Vic are getting anxious." Kellin and Vic are dating... I wish I could be open about my sexuality, and apparently my crush on my best friend Jack. "I'm almost there Jack I just woke up late again." "what did you dream about?" Wait what how did he know I had a dream "umm nothing Jack i'll see you at school." I quickly hung up I felt bad about doing it but I can't risk him finding out. I pulled up to the school five minutes before we had to inside. "Hey Alex!" I heard Kellin and Jack say at the same time "Jinx!" they both yelled I rolled my eyes. "So hows the band going you two?" I smiled at something I actually wanted to talk about. "It's going great we have our first gig this weekend!" Jack's jaw dropped "Are you serious? We have to tell Zack and Rian!" he shouted "Tell us what?" They walked up behind me "okay next time please warn me before you do that you scared the shit out of me." Jack hugged me "Okay guys take the Jalex moment somewhere else!" My four other friends laughed, me and Jack blushed. Wait Jack Blushed?! Holy shit was that real "Jack did you just...." I was cut off by the bell "Bye Guys...." Jack said he sounded uneasy I hope I didn't do anything.

(Jack's Pov)

Fuck did he see that, I walked off to class with Rian. "So when are you gonna tell him Jack we all see it?" "Tell who what?" I ask innocently he rolled his eyes "Alex, You were kinda all over him this morning." I chuckled "Nah man I like Allison." I tried covering up my huge crush on my best friend I mean come on guys we met in middle school. "Yeah dawg but what was that all about?" I sighed "okay you got me but he would never like me back so I just need to get over this small crush.... It's kinda awkward now since he's a little more jumpy and so afraid of random stuff..... I wonder if he's hiding something from me." "Mr.Barakat hush while I give instuctions." I nodded "What classes do you have with Alex?" I whispered "Whispering is a form of talking Mr.Barakat! One more peep from you, you'll be serving an hour detention Understood?" I nodded "I have Geometry and Biology with him why?" Rian whispered back "I need you to interview him ask him a couple of question see how he reacts." I whispered as quietly as possible "Mr.Barakat and Mr.Dawson Detention!" Wow Mr.Jones... I mouthed 'Sorry' to Rian he nodded and smiled 'It's fine dawg' he mouthed back Damn i've never hated History so much in my life!

(Alex's Pov)

"So Kellin, Vic how did you tell each other you guys liked each other?" They looked at me kinda confused. "Awe Alex Gaskarth likes Jack Barakat!" They squealed "Shhhh keep it down I don't need people telling him before I know for sure." I sighed walking into music class "Hey Mr.Frank!" man I love the new music teacher he's so chill. "Yo Alex how's your band doing?" I smiled "It's doing great!" "Hey you want to sing for the announcements today?" I nodded He took me over to the office "Hey this is whose gonna sing for the next few days while you're advertising the Talent Show!" Awe man im super stoked for the Talent Show! "Good Morning Maryland High... Please stand for the pledges."

(Jack's Pov)

{After Pledges}

"Hey guys I'm Alex Gaskarth, Do you want to be noticed? Do you want to be famous someday well here's you're chance! This years Talent show will have some big time producers watching and picking one student with their and or band to become famous. Here's a excerpt from one of my songs.

He finished singing everyone clapped and I blushed a deeper shade of red than before. I can't wait for that talent show!
