Peter and Draco spent most of their day out near the forest. The two of them were still exhausted from last night after not being able to get much sleep. "Can you hum that song again? The one that you did when we first met." Draco asked as he sat against a tree playing with Peter's hair as he sat in front of him.
For a moment it was silent and Draco thought that it would stay that way. Until Peter quietly hummed the tune that had brought them together. But this time it seemed as if the forest was another instrument within the tune. To Draco it felt as if the entire world was an instrument that only Peter knew how to play and soon he felt the gentle embrace of sleep. It wasn't long until Peter also followed. The two slept and the forest continued the tune as they hugged as they did on their first night.
When Peter awoke again the sun was setting and the first stars had started to show. Peter felt something tighten around him and a weight on his shoulder. He turned to see familiar platinum blonde hair. Peter smiled as he noticed drool that had escaped from Draco's mouth.
Peter looked back up to the sky to see the stars and a constellation caught his eye and caused tears to fall. He hadn't wanted to look at the stars when he arrived due to the fear of seeing an unfamiliar sky again. But now.. now that he was looking at the ursa major constellation he wished he had looked sooner. A smile filled his face as tears rolled down his cheeks. He was home..
The long awaited update has arrived! I'm going to have so many plot holes to fill when rewriting this series.. but this chapter is worth it.
