Peter sat on his bed watching Draco pack his bag. They would be on the train in a few hours before going to the airport by getting a ride on a bus. Hagrid had suggested he take them but the boys wanted to take the muggle way as Draco called it so that he could get used to being in the muggle world.
Peter was wearing a large robe to help hide his dragon features as his tail wagged slightly from below the robe. Professor McGonagall walked into the room to see Draco shut the suitcase, everything was finally packed.
"Are you both ready to go?" She asked. Peter was practically bouncing as he nodded his head. Draco also nodded about to pick up his suitcase but Peter picked it up before he could.
"Super strength." Was his only reply before he bounced off after professor McGonagall. Draco shook his head before following the two.
Draco was very nervous about meeting the people that Peter called family. What if they didn't like him? What if they judged him for his past? He used to be the villain. And from what Draco knew, these people were heroes, he wanted them to like him. Just as Draco felt as if he were about to spiral into madness he felt a warm hand take a hold of his own.
Peter smiled at him as he squeezed Draco's hand and rubbed the back of it with his thumb.
They would be fine. Peter would be with him.
Sorry this update took so long I've been busy seeing like 5 different people for my mental health and having a back and forth with my doctor about if my medication is working, which I don't think it is, but anyway I hope you enjoyed this chapter!
