Hermione watched as the boy across from her was practically jumping in his seat with a smile on his face. She looked over to Draco who sat next to Peter looking tired.
"You seem happy today. And you look as if you rose from the dead." Hermione spoke looking at Peter before looking towards Draco.
"Plane day!" Peter shouted happily as Draco groaned. Peter had been working on his speech the last few weeks and had been able to speak some more though it was still a bit difficult to understand sometimes.
Luckily Draco had become fluent in Peter. "We're leaving for New York tomorrow so he's super happy." Ron who was in the middle of eating almost choked.
"Wait you guys are off tomorrow?! I thought you'd be here a bit longer." Ron spoke with food still in his mouth causing Hermione to look at him in disgust and hit him on the arm.
"Finish eating before you speak. And what Ron means to say is that we'll miss you both." Hermione scolded Ron before talking to Draco and Peter and giving them a small smile.
"I guess Peter isn't the only one with a designated translator." Draco spoke before laughing as well as Hermione and Peter while Ron's face flushed red in embarrassment.
And so that's how the last dinner of the four was spent. They laughed and ate poking fun at each other as they remembered their time together. Most of them had known each other for years while one had only known them for a few months but they all felt as if they had spent a lifetime together.
"How's Harry doing?" Draco asked the two across from him.
Hermione spared a quick glance to Peter before speaking, Peter understood what had happened to Harry and had forgiven Harry. "The professors are having a bit of trouble trying to separate moldy shorts from him. But they said that they're getting somewhere so it might just be another month before he's back."
There was a moment of silence before Peter leaned over to Draco and Draco spoke again. "Peter said that we should trade numbers so that we can all stay in contact. Though I have no idea what numbers he's on about." Draco and Rin looked confused.
Hermione laughed. "He's on about phone numbers. It's the way muggles keep in contact with people. Here." Hermione wrote down a string of numbers on a bit of paper. "This is mine. We're not allowed phones in here though so it might be a bit difficult to stay in contact for a bit. But with Christmas coming up we could get on touch then." Hermione passed the paper over to Peter who also passed a number over to her in return.
"Anyway it's probably about time we get back we still have some packing to do because someone decided he wanted to run around the school instead." Draco looked over to Peter. "Well we'll see you when we see you and message Peter when you get out for the holidays." Draco stood up with Peter following behind both of then giving a wave before leaving the hall.
"Surprisingly I think I might miss the snake. Even if he was annoying most of the time." Ron spoke quietly looking at the door. And Hermione nodded.
Might just finish this today to be honest so keep an eye out for more updates. Brain be working.
