Dear Diary,

It's the first day of school. My first day at Freeman High and I hardly know anyone there except for Rowan. But still, he is nice and all, but I seem to avoid him as much as possible. Why? I have no clue. I've already said this before, but every time I talk to him or even go near him, I get a weird insecure feeling.

So I walked into the high school. It was a typical school. Just, imagine what it would be like; a bunch of stinky teenagers talking in the hallways and stuff.

Rowan waved at me excitedly. "Hey, Felix!" he ran over to me. "What is your homeroom? Mine is Ms. Sus."

Laughed so hard I almost spitted out my mouth full of Starbucks coffee. "What? MS. SUS?!"

He looked at me and nodded his head trying not to laugh too. "Anyway, who do you have?" He asked and looked over at my schedule. "Yes! You have her too!" he jumped up and down, almost knocking his white baseball cap off.

"Neat. Let's go to class then. We wouldn't want to be late."

Ms. Sus had us write on a blank piece of paper what we want to learn this year. She also didn't have any kindness because she didn't let us choose our seats. Now, I have to look 45 degrees over my shoulder just to look at Rowan.

I couldn't help it, ok? But I quickly glanced over my shoulder and saw Rowan scribbling on his paper with half of his tongue sticking out. He took his baseball cap off to reveal his copper shimmer hair, reflecting the classroom light like metal. The way his hair fell when he looked down at his paper made me blush. Wait...AGAIN?! SERIOUSLY?!

I smirked at him but he didn't see me because he was concentrating so hard on his paper.

"Felix, please look at your paper." Ms. Sus ordered.

I quickly stared back at my paper, right as Rowan started looking up. I could feel his eyes weighing down on me. The back of my neck started to burn up and started to fidget with my fingers again.
