Dear Journal,
I arrive at Felix's house, I hear thuds from inside the house and the door quickly swings open.
Felix clears his throat, "Hey!" he says, continuing to clear his throat.
He showed me the guest room where I had to assume I would be sleeping. "I was kinda hoping we could share the same room," I sighed.
"Yeah... me too." He says fidgeting with his hands and leaning against the wall.
We hung out together for the rest of the day. Nothing really happened though because his mom was always around. Even when we go somewhere out of the house, she is always watching us, looking at our everymove to see if we do something again. I thought Felix cleared everything with his mom so why does she seem not ok with it?
Later when we all went to bed, I snuck into his room and I heard his mom snoring, she is out cold. "Hey, it's me!" I gently shake Felix's shoulder. "Sorry I woke you."
"My mom... is she up?" he says in a cracky voice.
I told him that his mom wouldn't be waking up any time soon and offered a smile. "Do you want me to leave? I mean I really didn't want to disrupt your sleep." I say but I knew that it wasn't the truth, I wanted to wake him up and talk to him.
"No, stay..." He whispers, sitting up.
We talk for a bit but the question on my mind doesn't seem to come up in the conversation. But finally here is my chance, "I know that it's a bit out of context but we've... kissed a few times so does that make us..." I couldn't finish my sentence. Even if my life depended on it, I wouldn't be able to say the word "boyfriend''."
"I mean... I guess." He shrugs.
I couldn't help myself. We are technically dating now so...I leaned in and kissed him patiently. I could feel my face getting more red, but I didn't care because all I could think of was..nothing. I slowly pull away trying not to make things weird, "So, yeah."
"Same..."
I head back to my bedroom and contemplate what is going to happen next as the days go on, but I eventually end up falling asleep, except I felt like all my problems were solved and there was nothing left to fix.
Damn, a lot can happen for the first month of school!
