Jasper:

"Edward, what the hell happened?" I growled as I watched Riley struggle to breathe, I wanted to run to her but I knew that it wouldn't help anyone and I didn't need to get hell from Rosalie later for it. The nurse had finally made it to Riley, that helped calmed the storm inside of me but I was still furious with what had happened right in front of me. It didn't help that Bella's feelings of fear and pain mixed with mine.

"Mike." He said through his teeth. In the moment I felt the animal side of me take over as I stalked away, Mike's face stuck in my mind. He already had left the scene but his emotions were not hard to pick up on as I followed them.

When I found him all I saw was red, "hey!" I called out to him, as I closed in on him I slightly shoved him, making his back make contact with the lockers. His eyes held nothing back as fear fell onto his face, I had to control myself or I'd never hear the end of it.

"Hey man, I didn't know she was allergic! It wasn't even my Idea, Alice told me-"

"What? She's the one who gave you the brownie?" I was taken back, Alice? Already today she lied to me and now this? At first I had thought that eventually we could be okay, maybe even friends but this was too much. Alice tried to kill her and that was unforgivable. I should of known that Alice wouldn't let me go that easy, she has to be stopped. Now.

Alice:

Before anything unfolded I rushed out of the school, Jasper will, at some point, come after me for this, that much I knew. But the vision hasn't changed, they are still happily together... She didn't die. Is this this who I am now? I just attempted to kill Jasper's mate and all I feel is disappointment. There has to be something else to do, Riley was, after all, only human. So many different ways she could 'accidentally'... pass on.

With these new thoughts, my feet came to a halt as hundreds of different visions played in front of my eyes. So many possibilities. My burning rage of jealousy only got hotter as I realized that, somehow, he'd be there to save her everytime. He was expecting it, Mike must have snitched me out, there was no way he'd leave her unprotected now knowing that I was the reason.

I started running again, right now there was nothing I could do but wait, watch and wait. He'd have to go hunting sometime, that's when I'll strike. Or he'll let himself get some thirsty that he'll take her out for me instead.

The house was quiet until I walked in and I heard Esme speaking to someone. I froze in the door frame as my eyes locked with Jasper's, he wasn't supposed to be here right now... Where my abilities starting to fail me?

I didn't have time for another thought before he lunged forward.
