Riley:
With my schedule and map in hand Bella and I went our separate was to different classes. I died a little inside when I looked at my first class of the day; Sex Ed. So much fun right? No, not at all. After class I needed to rush across the school to the office, I was going to need to get this class changed as soon as possible before I had to retake this class. I was forced to take it in ninth grade and I never want to take it again.
I still had a few minutes before class started, a few student were already seated. I kept my head low with my eyes to the ground as I rushed to one of the desks in the back of the room. Students began to fill in as the one minute bell rang. Right before the tardy bell rang he came running in. His honey hair bouncing with each step. His whole body stiffened as he looks in my direction, I couldn't help but stare down at my hands even though all I wanted to do was stair into his dark eyes until the end of time.
"Hello class, I'm Mr. Starr. I say this because I see there's a new student." He said, I held my breath, I hated teaches that did this. "This is Riley Swan, please make her feel welcome." Then he went to the white board. At least he didn't make me introduce myself, like most do.
I could really care less on what he was saying, I had heard of all what he was saying before. I wouldn't need to know any of this information for tests if I was able to switch some classes around. I was into my doodle until a musical voice broke into my train of thought. I didn't even focus on what he said, just the sound of his voice.
"Correct, Jasper." Jasper. That fit him perfectly, I don't know why but just finding out his name made me smile as a pink heat flooded my cheeks.
Jasper:
I split away from my family sooner than normal but I didn't care, I needed to see her again. She didn't seem real, I had to be imagining her. How could a human hold such beauty? It didn't seem possible for her to even be human, more like an angel from a dream. I couldn't find her the halls, maybe he she already went to class. The warning bell sounded leaving a pain in my chest, I needed to meet her but Carlisle would kill me for skipping without a good enough reason to his standards.
Agaisnt my heart, I started heading towards class, Sex-Ed, the most boring class of the day. With all my years you would think I would get out of taking this class everytime we move. As I walked her scent hit my nose again but so much stronger than before. She was just here and still very close, she must have a class down this hall as well. That's when I started planning, after class I would find her. My mind went blank from thoughts as I walked into the classroom. There she was, hiding away from the rest of the room. I unwilling look away so it wouldn't be obvious I was looking at her. Wow, that's not creepy. Mr. Starr introduced her and her name was so perfect, fitting her so well. Riley.
I just found it funny that this is a class we had together. Sex Ed. I couldn't help but chuckle at the thought. Slowly during every second that passed the smell of her blood started getting stronger. The sound of her heart pumping all of the blood through her veins. I felt so much burning in the back of throat but it was somehow easy to control. I'd have to ask Carlisle about that later.
My thoughts we cut short as the bell rang and Riley moved out of her seat and was out the door before anyone else. I needed to talk to her, I needed her. Maybe that's what had Alice so worried... Alice had a vision that my mate would come but she didn't think to tell me... I was going to have a word with her later. I would understand that she was going to be the one hurting but Riley was about to change my whole world.
I followed her smell of lavender and something else I couldn't put my finger on. I found her in the office. Trying to get her schedule changed? She hasn't been here that long and she was already trying to get out of class. I was curious about her reasoning behind it, I wish I could be in her mind like Edward.
"Please there has to be something. I've already taken this class and I would love not having to take it again." Riley begged, her lip slightly sticking out in a pout. It was adorable.
"What other classes did you have in mind Ms..."
"Swan. Riley Swan. I was thinking something more... I don't know. Is there any gym classes in the morning?" Riley asked. Gym? She didn't look like the athletic type.
"There is. I will change that and you will start with that tomorrow. Coach Allen will get you a locker so make sure to get some kind of gym wear. Now, is there any other classes you would like to change while I'm in the system?" Ms. Cope asked pushing up her glasses as she watched Riley. Without missing a beat Riley smiled.
"Actually yeah. Could you maybe switch my Psychology and Chemistry class hours? My sister has Phychology for seventh hour and I kinda want to have at least one class with her." Riley said happily as she leaned closer to Ms. Cope, hope was in her eyes and dripping from her emotions.
I hoped it could be changed too. That would mean she would be in Psychology with me.
"Sure thing, hun. I'll add it to the system, please wait while I print you a new schedule." Ms. Cope walked to the back room to get the paper as the bell rang. I didn't want to be late but I also didn't want to leave yet.
I didn't have a choice as Alice came up behind me and grabbed my hand, dragging me to class with her.
