I walked out of the office with a smile on my face, feeling accomplished, as I made my way to my next class. Not that I was excited to go to geometry, not at all. Math was never going to be easy for me, I'm just glad I have Bella who understands this subject better than I do.
His face once again popped into my mind. Jasper. I couldn't help but look at him, take mental note about him, his cheekbones were my favorite thing about it. Sometimes I when I looked up I could see him watching me, I had to be losing my mind. There no way someone like him was interested in me.
"Hello! You must be Bella!" Said a happy voice behind me. I spun on my heels and met the blue eyes of a redheaded girl. I knew Bella and I looked alike but no so much for people to confuse us.
"Sorry, I'm Riley." I said with a slight shrug, hoping that would be the end of it. Worry flashes across her eyes as she stammers to correct herself.
"Oh god! I am so sorry! I didn't mean to-"
"Calm down. Its okay. What's your name?" I asked her with smile. I had hoped to find at least one friend on the first day but she was so bubbly, I didn't know how we would work out but it was worth a shot.
"Madison. I was told I have geometry with you, let's go!"

Riley:
"Madi, what year are you?" I couldn't help but ask as we walked towards lunch. She only looked as old as a freshman, if that. I was already glad I met her, she was a math wizard and said anytime I needed help all I had to do was ask.
"I'm a junior. Surprising, I know." She said with a roll of her eyes. I couldn't help but laugh as she opened up the door for me. It was nice to have already made a friend. I couldn't help but scan the room for Bella, maybe Madi could sit with us.
Either Bella was hiding or she wasn't here yet, I knew how lost I looked when Madi smiled, taking ahold of my hand and led us to a table with some of her friends.
"Riley, this is Mike, Tyler, and Eric. The guys of the group. Jessica, Lauren, and Angela will be here soon." Madi said as she sat next to the one she called Tyler. His arm found its way around her shoulders, giving her a small kiss on her forehead. Cute.
I made my way over to Mike and sat down next to him, his baby face made him look innocent and sweet. Something flashed in his eyes as I took the seat.
"Hello, Riley." He said with a flash of a smile that make my heart flutter a bit. His eyes were a different shade of blue than mine but so much more pretty.
"Hi." I whispered, my stomach doing weird flips. I couldn't help but admit he was a little but attractive but the hair threw my off a little bit. I was never attracted to blondes for some reason.
"How is Forks treating you?" He asked moving closer to me. Our knees slightly toughing, he leaned onto the table as he watched me. His blue eyes locked on mine. I could tell in that instant he was getting ready to flirt with me with how little space was between us.
"Better than I thought it would." I said with a smile.
Then a different voice joined us, "hey guys, whose the new girl?" The minute she spoke Mike seemed to back off, sitting all the way back in his chair. Was he taken and flirting with me? Why do all the guys I might have interest have to be taken? Suddenly I didn't want to be to friendly with Mike anymore, he was flirting with me while in his own relationship.
"Riley, already found a love interest?" I looked up and met Bella's brown eyes before Madi could answer who I was. I couldn't help but blush a deep crimson, I wanted to tell Bella to shut up but kept quiet, I didn't need to make Mike's girlfriend an enemy.
"Nah. He's just gonna be a good bud." I said as I pushed onto his shoulder sending him off his chair, trying to make sure I didn't seem interested in him like that. "Oops, sorry Mike." I apologize as Bella took his seat.
"How is everything sis?" Bella asked me as she swung her around around my shoulders.
"We'll see how the rest of the day goes," I joked slightly praying that today would just be a good day.
