At first, Riley was terrified of the idea of getting on the plane but now she was sound asleep next to Bella. Bella couldn't help but watch her sister sleep as she took noticed to the music blaring in Riley's ears. It was just loud enough to be noticed but not enough to understand the words.

Bella loves Riley more than she realizes, she was everything to Bella. Bella thought she was always going to be an only child, hell so did their mother. Renee was planning to run away with Bella is the middle of the night while Charlie was a work but it didn't work like that.

While she was trying to get things together he came home early and stopped her. After he convinced her to stay they had makeup sex which created Riley. Renee has always argued that she was made out of love but Bella knew that it was a lie. It was her weird way to "protect" Riley from the truth thinking it would scar her mentally but Bella knew Riley would just brush it off like it was nothing.

"Riley?" Bella whispered softly when the plane landed. As soon her name fell from her lips she felt stupid taking notice again to the headphones still plugged into Riley's ears. What Bella didn't expect was for Riley to attempt to hit her when she pulled out an ear bud.

"Riley Jade!" Bella cried out trying to avoid the hits but she couldn't help but laugh when she noticed Riley was already laughing.

"Isabella Marie," she joked as she opened her blue eyes, the same eyes as their mother, while Bella had Charlie's same color of brown. Riley's smile didn't last as she realized Bella had woken her up because they have landed.

As Bella turned to gather their things Riley couldn't hell but whisper "this is going to be hell," to herself not caring if Bella would hear. Bella did hear her didn't say a single word back, she knew that this was hard for Riley and she wasn't going to push it.

"Please be nice," was all she said as they went to go look for Charlie.

While Bella was busy looking for Charlie, Riley couldn't care less if he fell off the face of the Earth. She couldn't understood why Bella was so okay with this whole situation.

Riley remember when they were in their teens when they used to spend two weeks in this town every summer. But its been years since they've seen Charlie. Back then it was Bella who was the one who refused to go back one summer, they have only talked to Charlie over the phone since.

When they finally found Charlie, he was leaning against his cruiser waiting for them. Somehow it had slipped Riley's mind that he was chief of police. Charlie gave them both and awkward hug before Bella took it upon herself to take the front seat. Not that Riley minded in the least, she didn't want to be the one to make awkward conversation with Charlie.

Riley sat in the back of police cruiser trying to sink down into the material, trying to say out of any wandering eyes of the people in Forks. She remembered what it was like to live in this little town where secrets were unheard of. She listened as Bella tried to make conversation but it died down faster than Riley could even imagine.

"Your hairs longer," Charlie commented as a failed attempt to start another chat, Riley looked up only to realize that he was talking to Bella.

"I've cut it since the last time I saw you," Riley was as comfortable with the suffocating silence as her sister watching people going on with their daily lives just like Riley used to do. This was her new normal.

A/n: Hello everyone! I just wanted to write a quick note for everyone who has read the original, yes I changed Riley's middle name. I did this because I felt that "Riley Ann" was way to common for my liking. Hope you all are enjoying this version as much as I am!! This chapter was kinda short so while I'm writing the next part I'll try to keep in mind about length. Not my strength at all but I'm working on it.
