Jasper:
"Just calm down, there has to be another reason for all this! Alice wouldn't do this!" Esme shrieked at me as I paced the living room. My violet rage only growing as I was called a liar but I could aslo feel that Esme did believe me, she was just in shock. I think I was too, I've spend so long with Alice and yet I would never have guessed this.
New footsteps started to approach from outside, I froze in place, listening. The light delicate touch to the steps told me exactly what I needed to know, Alice.
I held my breath as she appeared in front of us, in a split second I was after her throat. I would have ended it all right then and there but in that same second, Carlisle was in between us along with someones arms wrapping around me. Emmett.
"How fucking could you?!" I growled as I slowly stopped fighting again Emmett, knowing there was no way to claw my way out of his arms. The fury was still lit inside of me but it would have to put on hold.
"What are you talking about? I didn't do anything!" She cried out. Again I fought to get a shot a her throat, how dare she! The screaming had caused everyone to surround us, Carlisle looked between us both torn on how to handle this situation but while his eyes were on me I felt his trust in me.
"Alice used Mike to harm Riley," Edward spoke softly from the corner of the room, his first time speaking up. He has already knew my plans to do away with Alice but he didn't warn anyone.
"She's fine-"
"That's not the point, you meant ill will on that young girl, that is not acceptable," Esme threw out, slowly everyone was against Alice. She didn't even look like this surprised her but even then she still looked hurt it went down this way.
No one knew what to say or do next but I did, I had to end this or Riley would never be safe. Minutes went by and still no one spoke, Emmett still had me trapped but no one was holding Alice to keep her from escaping. For once, I was grateful that Edward was able to read my thoughts, his arms wrapped around her tiny frame and she didn't fight him on it.
"She will try again, if we just let her go she'll keep trying to kill Riley," I was begging and I didn't care. Someone had to understand this that is wasn't going to end as peacefuly as they wanted it to, Edward please I cried out to him. His eyes locked with Alice's as he dug through her thoughts just as she was trying to cover them all up.
She was no match against him on this, especially since Riley is Bella's sister. To keep Bella safe from harm he has to help me keep Riley safe, and I will do the same for him.
"She's already making plans for her next attack, she believes we'll let her go but now that vision is changing as well speak," he spoke so softly that any human in ear shot wouldn't have even noticed he spoke.
"We can't just kill her over a couple of humans! She's apart of this family!" Rosalie screeched as she took notice to Carlisle, who was obviously deep thought, trying to find the best way to handle this, I already knew it, they all just needed to accept it.
"Alice, you must go, leave Forks. Tonight and never return because if you do... I'll be the one to handle it. You can't be trusted here anymore, you will put all of us at risk with the behavior and I cannot let it stand," and with one last look at Alice, Carlisle walked away.
"No! We can't just let her go free, Carlisle this will end I'm blood unless one of you end it right now! Carlisle please!" If I had the ability to cry I would have been drowning. No one listened to my words, and to my disbelief, Edward release her and in the same split second she was gone.
