My Wife Dr O'Hara

Chapter 1

O'Hara/Reader

you walk into All Saint's Hospital those you are not due to start your new job until tomorrow, however Administrator Gloria Akalitus has asked you to come in today as there was some paperwork to go over before you start your first shift tomorrow, as you walk through A&E, you see a beautiful woman in a pink dress wearing a white doctor's coat, you smile as you see a little boy around the age of six or seven start to hug her legs, at first you think it is very sweet until you realise the woman isn't very comfortable in that situation and was asking for help to get the boy off her, she had her hands up in the air as if she touch him she would get a disease or something.

You walk over to them and get down to the boy's eye level "Hi there, did this lady Dr help you? Is that why you are hugging her legs" you ask the boy, and he nods at you, "well why don't you let her go now so she can go and help another little boy while you go back to your mum" you tell him, the little boy nods at you again before letting her go and running off to find his mum

"Thank you" she says to you once you stand up and are now at her eye level, those she is a little bit taller than you are, however you think it might have something to do with the heels she is wearing, you looked at her name badge, it reads Dr Eleanor O'Hara

"O'Hara, what kind of doctor doesn't like children?" you ask her, those before letting her answer, you just walk off in search of Akalitus, you are with Akalitus for an hour making sure your paperwork this is ordered, as you walked back through A&E you don't see O'Hara anyway, you are glad of that in one way as you wasn't sure if you were looking forward to working with her or not, as you step outside you see her, talking with a nurse with short blonde hair, not really wanting to get on anyone's bad side before you even start, so taking a breath you decide to walk over to introduce yourself to her and her friend.

"I'm telling you Jackie that woman was so far up her own ass, I mean can you believe she asked me that? what kind of doctor doesn't like children? I'm a good doctor ill like to see what miss up my own ass doctor she would make" O'Hara says to Jackie

"Well, it looks like you will get your wish" you say making O'Hara turn around and look at you "I'm the new doctor here at All Saint's, I start tomorrow I look forward to working with you O'Hara, if I'm not too far up my own ass that is" you tell her, O'Hara jaw is on the floor and her friend Jackie is trying not to laugh "I come over here to introduce myself as I didn't want us to get off on the wrong foot, however I feel we are past that point don't you agree O'Hara?" you ask her

"I guess we are past that point, so let me be the first to say welcome to All Saint's, I look forward to working with you as well, I will stay out of your way if you stay out of mine" O'Hara says to you before walking past you and back into the hospital

"you will like her once you get to know her, and I am sure the same can be said of you, hi I am Jackie by the way" Jackie says holding out her hand for you to take and you did

"it's nice to meet you Jackie and I promise I'm actually a very nice personal once you get to know me" you tell Jackie 

"I need to get back to work now, so I will see you tomorrow and welcome to All Saints" Jackie says before going back inside the hospital as well, you roll your eyes a little before shaking your head as you walk off to go and get some coffee and something to eat since you have no food at home.

The next morning you are walking towards the hospital drinking your coffee, you don't want to be late on your first day so you are walking as quickly as you can, as you walk up to the hospital you see O'Hara and Jackie standing just outside looking up at something, were you get closer you realise they are looking at a man shouting from his window, you come to stand next to O'Hara, you also look upward at the man as well.

"what's going on?"  you ask them wondering if anyone had called for help,

"oh that's just Jesus, he does this all the time" Jackie tells you

"Is he having psychotic break?" you ask them

"Only when he doesn't take his medication" O'Hara tells you "Don't worry, you've get used to it, if you don't there are other hospitals" O'Hara says giving you a smile

"Oh, you'd liked that, keep dreaming O'Hara it's not going to happen" you tell her before walking away but not before you hear O'Hara say to Jackie?.. "I'll give her a month" you walk into the hospital and head straight towards Akalitus office.

"Your late y/n" Akalitus says looking very unhappy with you

"Sorry I was meeting Jesus as he was yelling out of his window" you tell Akalitus knowing just how weird that sounded even to you

"Yes, Jesus is a very trouble man and will not get the help he needs, those everyone here likes him for some reason" Akalius tells you "Anyway let me show you to your new office before I introduce you to everyone" she says getting up from her chair and walking around her desk, you also get up from your seat and follow Akalius out of her office and down the hallway, you walk beside Akalius as she begins to tell you that even those you are no longer a junior doctor and haven't been in there years and you now have seven year under your belt, four as a junior doctor and three as a doctor who would had to work alongside another doctor for the next three months and you hoped to god it wouldn't be O'Hara, as you're not sure how you would handle working alongside her for the next three months.

"You will be on the same shifts and have the same days off as him" you sigh in relief when you hear Akalius say "Him" so you wouldn't have to work with O'Hara that was the best news you could get, "the first month you will help him with his cast load, as well as over see some surgeries and assisting with others plus work in the A&E, by your second month you will have some of your own cases and a little more freedom, those on your third month you will have a lot more freedom and more responsibility, I feel you can hand it those from what I hear, you are more than capable" Akalius tells you as she opens a door, to your office it has a desk and chair, lamp in the corner, a sora and a bookshelf.

"I cannot wait start making this office my own" you tell her smile as you see that your name was already on the door, you and Akalius leave your new office and make your way to A&E

"This is one of own nurse Zoe, Zoe this is our new doctor, Dr y/n" Akalius introduces you

"it's very nice to meet you" Zoe says shaking your hand

"it's nice to meet you a well Zoe" you tell her with a smile

"Dr Cooper, I would like you to meet Dr y/n she is going to work alongside you for the next three months" Akalius tells him

"it's very nice I meet you Dr Cooper I look forward to working with you" you say shaking his hand, as you see Dr O'Hara walking over with Jackie next to her, you were starting to think those two are joined at the hip

"This is Jackie and Dr O'Hara" Akalius says pointing towards them

"Oh, we're already met" you tell Akalius as you and O'Hara eyes are locked on one another's

"Oh yes we have met" O'Hara say with her eyes still locked on you

"that's just what I like to hear so Dr Cooper you are off the hook, Dr O'Hara you now have the pleasure of having Dr y/n working alongside you" Akalius tells you both, you and O'Hara are now looking at Akalius in shock and horror

"WHAT?" you both say in unison...
