My Wife Dr O'Hara

O'Hara/Reader

Ten minutes after O'Hara left your office, you pick up your phone from your desk and message Olivia asking her if she was free to join you for lunch, you put your phone back down on your desk and start to read the folder for tomorrow surgery while you wait for Olivia to get back to you about lunch.

When Olivia finally messaged you back, she told you she was sorry however she couldn't make lunch as she had a new case, she was working on those she would see you soon for drinks at the weekend as she wanted to hear all about your new job, you just roll your eyes as you knew by the weekend you would most likely would need a drink or a dozen drinks.

You get up from your desk and go to get some lunch, as you didn't know anyone in this part of the city you find a little place to get some take away, so you order to go and go back to your office and read as many of the folder's as you can, once eight o'clock comes you cannot wait to get out of there and go home to take a long hot shower, when you step outside you see O'Hara with Zoe and Jackie, they don't see you, you are about to jump into a text when someone calls your name

"Y/N, how about a drink?" it was Olivia, you are so happy to see her you run right into her arms, she picks you up, swinging you around before she puts you down, you don't need to look to know O'Hara eyes are on you, after only one day with her you have learn how her eye feels on you as felt her eyes on you throughout the day and you are sure she must also know how your eyes feel a upon her.

you step to Olivia's side linking your arm through Olivia arm, you finally look in O'Hara's direction and your eyes lock as you walk across the road, she is watching you intently, Zoe and Jackie are also looking at you those more with a curious look than anything else.

You and Olivia walk to the nears bar, once you have your drinks, you find a table and sit down, you are grateful the bar isn't that busy, you ask Olivia what happened to having dinks at the weekend, Olivia just tells you she wanted to see you, those you had only seen her two days ago when you took her something to eat as you know what she gets like when she is on a case, she can sometime forget to eat.

For the next hour you talk about your first day and of course you tell about O'Hara and what has happened between the two of you, Olivia had also notice the way O'Hara was looking at you outside the hospital and she jokes that she would put good money on that the two of you would of ended up sleeping together before the three months are over, you laugh knowing that a snowball would have a better chance of surviving in hell then you sleeping with that woman.

Olivia reminds you that she is a cop, and that reading people is a part of her job, and she was very good at it, you also mention to her what Dr Cooper had say to you, you tell her as a friend and not a cop, you could tell she had gotten angry when you tell her, those she remine composed, that one of thing you love about Olivia how protected she is of you, Olivia tells you that the next time he says anything inappropriate towards you or anyone else, to go straight to HR after you tell him you are friends with half the cops in the city.

After your drinks you leave the bar, you ask Olivia if she wanted to come back to yours, she tells you another time as she had to get back, she makes sure you get home safe of course, once outside your building Olivia pulled you into her arms kissing you deeply once, you ask her again if she wanted to come in, you can tell she really wants to and you think she is about to say yes when her phone starts to ring, she apologises to you before leaving.

You let yourself into you flat before letting out a sigh, you get yourself some wine out of your fridge, then you get into a hot bath and try to relax, you think about your day and O'Hara you cannot help yourself, then you also think about what Olivia said about sleeping with her within the next three months why working with her, that got you thinking about what Dr Cooper say to you about being under him and if you had to choose between Dr Copper and O'Hara to get under then you would definitely get under O'Hara.

You mind soon drifts to Olivia, you have known Olivia for six years, you met her at the hospital you used to work in, she had come in to talk to a victim who was under your care, the both of you had been professional at the time, she asked you questions about the young woman who was brough in and you gave her your professional opinion, over that year you had seen Olivia a-lot as she was always in and out of the hospital on different cases, than one night you were out having drinks with some of your work colleagues, when you spotted Olivia sitting alone in a corner, so you when over to say hello, she told you she was undercover, so you turn to leave when she tells you to sit down as the person she was watching had seen you two talking.

After that night you and Olivia became closer, you had started meeting up for drinks, lunch, dinner, going to see films, night in on the soft, until one night after dinner you had gone back to Olivia and you two had slept together, you had thought it as a one-night stand and nothing more, only to have Lisa a doctor you work with and a friend to point out that you have been dating Olivia for months, you had missed the obvious those you always do when it comes to relationships, you and Olivia had dated for over three years before finally calling it a day about four months ago, not because you didn't love each other because you loved each other deeply, it had been both your jobs that had finally gotten in the way, those you was able to stay friends and every now and then the two of you would end up spending the night together, a friends with benefits kind of deal, You message Olivia saying good night before getting into bed, you made yourself comfortable as you close your eye and let yourself drift off to asleep.

The next day you walked into your office holding a box with some books and other things for your new office, you had barley put the box down on your desk when O'Hara walks in without knocking

"morning" O'Hara says to you

"Morning, give me five minutes and I will be right with you" you tell her as you take off your jacket

"I just wanted to let you know, you will no longer be assisting me in today's surgery" O'Hara informs you

"O'Hara if you're worried that you didn't give me enough time to prepare, then you're wrong, I am full up to date on this case" you reassure her as you cannot think of any other reason as to why she wouldn't want you assisting her after yesterday she had made it very clean you were to assent her

"I'm sure you are up to date; however, Dr Cooper will be assisting me on this surgery, and you will observe" O'Hara tells you, making you blood boiled

"What?" You ask angrily "you cannot do that; I am not a med-student who you need to teach or mentor, I am more than capable to assist you with this surgery" you tell her trying your best to remine calm

"I'm sure you are more than capable y/n, but you are going to observe and if you refuse that is your right of course, however if you do refuse then you will only be observe for the next three months" O'Hara tells you, you want to ask her why she is doing this, but you don't want to give her the satisfaction.

"Looks like I really don't have a choice" you tell her folding your arms in-front of your chest

"It's only for today, you will be assisting me with tomorrow surgery" O'Hara tells you; you unfold your arms and step right into her personal space, you are leaning so close that you can feel her hot breath on your skin

"I don't believe you" you tell her, you both stand there not one of you wanting to back down, you don't know how long you were both standing there like that when Zoe knocks on your door

"Akalitus is looking for you Dr O'Hara" Zoe says looking between you both before making her escape as she doesn't want to stay any longer than she needed to, and you cannot blame the poor girl.

"Run along now, don't want to keep the boss waiting" you say and after another minute of intense staring at each other before O'Hara finally took a step back from you with her hands on her hips, before leaving your office.
