My Wife Dr O'Hara

Chapter 2

Dr O'Hara/Reader:

"WHAT?" you both say in unison, you and O'Hara both have blank expressions on your face's, Akalitus looks at you then looks at O'Hara

"Why didn't I think of it before?" she asks herself more then you or O'Hara

"What? Didn't you think of before Gloria?" O'Hara ask's her, using her first name, as she sounded very annoy, those you cannot blame her as you are feeling very annoyed yourself right now. 

"The two of you working together, this could really be good for All Saint's, Dr O'Hara your one of the best doctor's we have here..." Akalitus was saying when Dr Cooper interrupted her

"No offence taken" Dr Copper say, those everybody just ignored him as Akalitus carried on talking like she hadn't heard him

"And Dr y/n from what I hear, you're the best in your field and you come highly recommended, so having you two works together might just put All Saint's back on the map, you're going to make a great team, I expect great thing from the two of you" Akalitus says with a smile at you both before turning to Dr Cooper, frowning at him "Dr Copper if you really need that man ego of your stroking, I suggest you go home to your mummy" Akalitus tells him before turning on her heels and leaving.

You watch her leave trying to think of some way to try and convince Akalitus that you would be better off working with Dr Cooper then O'Hara, when Dr Cooper came up beside you and whispers in our ear so only you can hear him

"That too bad, I would have loved to have you under me" Dr Cooper says giving you a wink before walking off, all of a sudden you are very grateful to Akalitus for changing her mind not that you would omit to that of course especially to O'Hara who was now standing next to you.

"I blame you for this" O'Hara tells you before walks off; you just roll your eyes before following her

"And how the hell did you work that one out?" You asked her once you have court up with her

"we're already met, does that ring any bells?" she asks you as she stops walking and turns to look you in the eyes with her hands on her hips

"If that is the case then you are just as much to blame as me, unless you forget about; oh yes we have met" you challenge her, taking a step into her personal space as you also place your hands on your hips, you both just inches apart that you can feel her breath on your skin and no doubt she can also feel your breath on her skin as well, with fire in bot your eyes not one of you wanting to back down.

"Let just try and just get through the next three months as painless as possible" O'Hara finally says without blinking or breaking eye contact

"Fine by me" you say as you take a step backwards taking a hand from your hip and holding it out to the side of you in a motion that tells her to lead the way to wherever she is going to take you, O'Hara sigh as she takes a step forward toward you as she looks at your lips then back at your eyes, before walking off, you let out a breath you didn't even know you had been holding before following her.

O'Hara gives you the tour of the hospital starting with the pharmacy where she introduces you to Eddie Walzer as she also gives him a prescription for some painkillers for a patient of her, you help O'Hara with her rounds and assisted her in the A&E of course ever now and then one for you or both ended up saying something to upset the other that ended up with you both in each other's personal space with hands on hips in a game of wills to see who would be the first to back down, sometime you would back down other times she would back down.

You finally end up back in your office away from O'Hara so you let yourself breathe for a moment, since this is your first day your office is empty so you cannot read a book to relax and you don't have your laptop with you, so you just sit in your chair behind your desk and close your eyes as you try to relax your body and get some of the tension out of your muscles, as you feel the start of a headache, you are not sure how long you sat there when there was a knock on your door, thinking it might be Akalitus checking up on you, you open your eyes and sit up

"Come in" you say after taking out your phone, so it looked like you were doing something "O'Hara, what do I own this pleasure?" you asked trying to not look to disappoint that it was her as the tension returned to your body

"Well first maybe you can start by calling Dr O'Hara and not O'Hara?" she asks you and you just lift an eyebrow at her "or not, second you need to look over these" O'Hara says dropping some folders onto your desk
 

"What all this?" you ask her, looking at the folders now on your desk

"Since I am stuck with you for the next three months you can make yourself useful, these are all my upcoming surgeries for the next month, so I need you to familiarise yourself with them, I have a six-hour surgery this afternoon, you can use that time to read them and get to know all of these cases, start with the one on top as that surgery is scheduled for tomorrow and you will be assenting me on it" O'Hara informs you as she stands by your desk with a very straight back and her hands now behind her back, you had also notice that when she was talking to you her eyes kept going from your eyes to your lips, those you are also very aware that you have been doing the same thing when you talk to her, you are not sure what it means and you don't want to know, so you just push it out of your mind.

"I look forward to assisting you tomorrow in surgery O'Hara and I hope your surgery goes well later today" you say picking one the folder she had pointed to before when she had informed you that folder was for the surgery tomorrow

"I am going to lunch now, and I suggest you do the same, you get an hour for lunch no more no less" O'Hara says and with that she leaves your office, you put the folder back down before folding your arms in-front of you on your desk as you place your head in your arms as you now have a headache, how the hell was you going to handle working alongside that woman for the next three months?.
