Izuku POV
As it turns out, the stuff covered in the sheets are actually just a bunch of projects in the making. Not only that, but he also taught art to a few people when he was an art teacher. From what I've heard, he had to disband because he couldn't afford all the supplies.
With that in mind, I'm not allowed to touch anything under the sheets. Actually, I could only touch some huge boxes that could reach the support beams of the ceiling. Still walking around and trying to find newer things, I stumbled upon my large block of cement that was brought here.
My boss wasn't happy about that, he had to pay the guy to carry it all the way up here. When I caught a glimpse of the guy, he kind of looks like Hercules. Only difference is, I couldn't see his face, so it was hard to tell the difference. Maybe it was the fact that he had short hair, like someone shaved his head.
He was too scary to look at and I never got my answer. But! Aside from that, my boss believes in me about becoming a sculptor artist. I took the sketch from the nightstand and looked at my completed art. I'm still upset that my sketchbook has been worn out and used up. Maybe I'll get enough money for a new one someday.
I set the sketch aside and put on a belt that holds all of my tools for the project. It's gonna be tough, it's going to take long, but it'll all be worth it!
"Da-da-la-la, Lada-la-la-la..." the chisel only broke off a little corner of the block. Progress, you love to see it. I've managed to break down 99.9999998% of it!
Urk! Oh, who am I kidding! I'm never going to get this done! There's a tap. Urgh! And what is causing that tapping noise?!
Did I forget to mention every time I'm trying to do something there's always a tapping noise out of nowhere? Yeah. I don't know what's been making that noise, but if I hear another tap—! Guess what? A tap. Did it come from my window?
My eyes darted all over the room and looked down on my belt. I randomly picked a tool out of it and it was a hammer. Eh, if it's a kid, they'll probably cry and run away screaming. Shrugging my shoulders, I hurriedly ran over to the window and opened it up quickly.
Just as I was about to scream, no one was there? Huh? Sticking my head out of the window, I looked all over for a kid with a rock. I almost had to do a double take when someone popped out of nowhere upside down and I shrieked. That made me stumble backwards and fall down on the ground.
"Ow!" I winced at the pain on my lower back. "Just who do you think you are, scaring people like that?!"
"Aw, is that anyway to treat an old pal, Izuku? Is it?" Oh great, it's him again. I scoffed as he let himself in through the window and did a summer salut. He held out his hand for me to grab on, I took his hand as he pulled me up with his strength.
"Nice to see you too, Rody. Now, can you please leave? I'm busy?"
"Heh. Doing what exactly?" He cocked an eyebrow at me as I tried to get back to what I was doing.
"I'm trying to get this statue made and I keep getting distracted because someone keeps throwing pebbles at my window!" I glared at him for a moment as he backed away slowly to one side of the room.
Rody held his hands up in the air and grinned at me, "When was the last time you got out of the attic? Hm?"
"I don't know, I don't keep track of time, maybe two, three days?" I said nonchalantly as I went back to work.
"Dude. You've been basically up here for the past two weeks. Minus the bathroom breaks and getting food, you've been cooped up in here for too long. And from the looks of it, you look really pale, get some sun!" He listed out for me to hear, and pointed out.
