"Today, we're finally starting with the second mission, Combination Mission. For this mission, their first cells have been disbanded, and the girls have been divided into new teams. In order to show off their strengths, they have chosen a position that they feel most confident about, among vocal, dance and rap positions. They will be showing us their skills on song arranging, choreography making, rap writing, and stage producing. Today's performances are to take place specially with a live band" Jingoo announces after he walks out on stage.
You and the Kpop Masters were asked to come a few hours later than the Vocal and Dance Masters so unfortunately you could not participate in the final rehearsal before the live performances. You were disappointed that you could not maximize your time with Cai Bing, but at least it gave you a little time to rest before the shooting day began. It also meant that this final performance would be the first time that you are seeing their finalized stages.
You and the rest of the masters cheer once more, excited that a live band will be playing. You were also eager for the final stages to begin.
"There are six teams of three members, three teams of six members, and two teams of nine members" said Jingoo.
"Since they must show their strengths during this mission, I'll look forward to seeing their performances" said Tiffany.
"They're performing in new teams this time, so I'll focus on how they express their strengths and how they pull off their performance" said Sunmi.
"I'm really excited to see what the girls have created together. Since they have nothing to base their performance off of, I'm excited to see their creativity and originality shine" you said when it was your turn to speak.
"For today's Combination Mission, there is a special master. It's Rap Master Woo Wonjae" Jingoo says.
"Let's do a good job. I'm so happy to be here today" Wonjae cooly said.
"Girls Planet 999 second mission, Combination Mission, begins now!' said Jingoo as the first group got ready for their performance.
"The first ones to perform are the group of three-member teams. This song received a lot of love with its sensual lyrics and beats and it aced all the music charts. 'We Are' by Woo Won Jae" Jingoo said.
You and the masters can't help but break out into laughter when you see Bora, Wen Zhe, and Manami swaggering in.
"Wen Zhe is so funny" Ayoung exclaimed. You nodded your head eagerly in agreement.
"Woo Wen Zhe" joked Tiffany.
You were happy to see that their mood and confidence was a complete 180 from the mid-checkup.
The music begins and you immediately finding yourself nodding along to the beat like you did during the mid-checkup.
When they finished performing, there was not a single master who didn't have a wide smile on their face.
"Thank goodness" Wonjae said.
"Ah Manami..." Sunmi said, stunned by her image change.
"She's good, right?" Juhee asked the group as you nodded in reply.
Your smiles soon grow wider when you see the performers pick up the props themselves.
