"Bakit mo ba tinititigan 'yan?" Inis kong tanong. Hindi niya kasi kinakain. Sinusuri lang niya ang cookie.
"Just making sure. Para kayang ang laki ng galit mo sa 'kin. Malay ko ba kung nilagyan mo ito ng kung ano." He chuckled.
"Edi don't eat it. Ikaw na nga binigyan." I rolled my eyes.
"Ok. Fine, I'll eat it." Aba! Parang labag pa sa kaniyang kaloob-looban, ah?
"Are you sure, you baked this?"
"Oo nga. Do you think I can call someone to deliver food pa? Ano? Tatawid?" Masungit na sagot ko sa kaniya.
"Well... you got what taste I want. Nakuha mo. Thank you for this Cookies. Miss Neighborhood." He chuckled.
"Ahuh! I'll bake cookies again next time. Kung gusto mo pa, I still have there. Taste the cupcake!" I'm enjoying to talk him na.
He is not masungit na boy naman pala. He has a good heart, kasi he said good rate about my cookies. I like him na tuloy. To be my friend.
"Here, tig-isa tayo. Let's eat it." He gave me the other cupcake.
"Are you sure? I still have over there," nginuso ko 'yong room ko.
"Yes. Taste what you've baked. Masarap." He smiled.
Oh, wow! He has dimples!
"O-ok, sure!" Ugh! Bakit ako nautal? Maybe nahihiya?
"Cheers!"
Kinain namin ang cupcake and I stared at him if what he'll react.
"Oh, this one's taste so good. Really good." He smiled at the... cupcake. Bakit hindi sa akin? Ako naman ang nag-bake.
"You have a good heart pala." I smiled at him.
"Hindi naman ako masungit."
"I am not mataray too! Look, I gave you those," turo ko sa mga pagkain. "So I'm not suplada, mataray or what."
"Okay. Pero, ang sungit mo kaya."
"No, I'm not!" Inis na sabi ko sa kaniya.
"See? Kita mo na, irita ka. May galit ka ba sa 'kin?" He laughed.
"Of course, hindi. Why would I? Sino ka ba? I mean, sino ka para pagtiman ko ng galit? I don't even know you."
"Malay ko?"
"I'm just really like this. Maybe because of my voice? Pero yeah, minsan inis talaga. Pero no, I'm not mad at you ha? Kasi you're my new friend na. You're kind kasi. Tsaka I don't have friends here."
"It's so relaxing here, 'no?" he asked.
I nodded. "Yes, super! If you already stayed at night here? Sobrang beautiful ng place."
"Yeah. I just arrived earlier. I watched the sunrise. Very peaceful." Oh! I found a friend na same interest kami.
"So, do you love sunrises, sunsets, moon, cloud, stars, waves, and a place like this?!" Biglang nabuhayan na tanong ko.
He nodded so my heart jumped. Everytime na mat nakikilala ako na same interests kami like that. My heart always jump. Kasi I appreciate people who appreciates nature.
"I really love those. Do you love trees?" He asked.
"Slight. Kasi minsan naaalala ko 'yong mga kwento sa akin noong maliit pa ako. There's kapre raw sa ibang puno. Lalo na 'yong big trees? Ganoon, kaya takot ako sa iba." Tinawanan lang niya ako. Why kaya? Hindi ba siya kinwentuhan ng ganoon?
"I don't believe those."
"Edi don't believe those. It's your choice. Pero I believe it."
"By the way, I am Advariella Kaisea." I introduced myself.
