"Hey," he hugged me from my back.
"Good morning! I'm cooking breakfast for us." Lumingon ako sa kaniya.
"Excited to eat." He rested his head on my shoulder.
"Excited? Pancakes lang ito at bacon."
"Iba pa rin kapag luto mo."
"Ewan ko sa 'yo, Rixel. Morning na morning, ang aga mo bumanat."
"It's not banat, baby. I'm just telling facts."
"Whatever it is, Rixel. Let's eat?" Inihanda ko na ang pagkain naming dalawa.
"Magco-coffee ka?" I asked him dahil nagpa-init siya ng tubig.
"Nope. I'll just have water today."
"Huh? Eh para saan 'yan?"
"For my baby's favorite chocolate drink." He prepared my mug and the chocolate drink.
Nang sa wakas ay kumulo na ang tubig, pinanood ko siya kung paano mag-timpla.
Nag-timpla rin naman ako ng Hot choco, pero hindi ako kasing guwapo katulad niya. The fudge.
"Let's eat?" Hindi ko namalayan na naka-upo na pala siya sa harap ko.
"Be careful. Mainit pa 'yong drink mo." He reminded.
"Opo," susubo na sana ako, but I remember something important.
"Let's pray first, babe." I nodded.
Taimtim kaming nag-dasal. Naging mahaba ang pakikipag-usap ni Rixel kay God.
I'm happy being with him. Hindi ako nagkamali na sinagot ko siya. He's a man who's changing me.
"Masarap?" Tanong ko sa kaniya.
"Sobra."
"Where do you want to go today?" He asked.
"I don't know? Saan ba maganda?"
"Do you want to watch sunset?"
"Ay, oo! Tapos doon ulit tayo sa speed boat. Do you still remember that day?" I smiled at him.
"Yeah. October 27. The day when I fall inlove with you. How could I forget that day? That was the day when we went to flower field. And watch sunset together at the speed boat."
"Angas mo talaga. Pati date tanda mo."
"Of course. That's one of my favorite day I've spent with you."
I bit my lip to stop from smiling. Damn you! You're driving me crazy.
"Hindi ka pa ba uuwi? I mean ang tagal mo na rin dito. Hindi pa tapos vacation mo? Hindi ka ba hinahanap?"
"Nope. They wouldn't care where I am. I will stay here until new year. I want to spend valentines with you outside this island."
"Huh?" I just realized what I am about to say. I know what's his relationship with his family. "I would love it if we spend valentine's with you!"
Pagkatapos namin kumain ay niligpit ko na ang pinag-kainan namin.
"Give me that," pag-agaw niya sa dapat na ako ang gumagawa.
"No, love, no!" Pag-bawi ko pa.
"Let me wash the dishes."
"Ayoko, Rixel. You should take a bath na. I can handle it naman, eh! So, ako na ang mag-huhugas. Just take a bath, can you?"
"Just take a sit and watch me, can you?" Pagbabalik niya.
"Ako na nga ang maghuhugas. Ako ang babae, kaya dapat ako ang gumagawa ng mga gawain." I insist.
"Ako ang boyfriend mo. I should be the one who will serve you. Just take a rest, please? You cooked for me, so I am the one should wash the dishes."
"Pareho na lang kaya tayo? Tutal makulit ka rin naman." Pumunta na ako sa lababo para simulan na mag-hugas.
Sinuotan niya ako ng apron, at nakita kong nag-suot din siya.
May bubbles akong nakita kaya pinutok ko iyon. But, nalagyan ng sabon ang ilong niya. Oh, no!
"Ikaw, ha," nilagyan niya rin ako.
"Bwiset! Mag-huhugas na ako!"
"Hindi. Dito ka lang. Sa'kin ka lang."
"Ewan ko sa 'yo, Rixel. I need to wash the dishes!" Pagrereklamo ko pa sa kaniya.
He kissed my forehead. "Okay, my love. I will help you."
