Cont ...
Aaliyah
"Aubree, are you seriously going to turn this into a "who has bigger balls" competition? People are losing their lives. They have families—"
"I don't give a fuck about them or their families. You been on that side but don't let them have you put out of your own shit. My niggas been turning shit up and down for you, looking for you. I don't give a fuck about him or anybody he came with. If you do, too bad. Why would you sit over there and befriend the same niggas that took you from me? He won't even man enough to approach me himself."
I wasn't siding with them. I would never side with them over our guys. I just think this will become a tic for tac if the killing begins.
I was able to get through to Harvey, of course promising him I'll get through to Aubree as well. I just want this all to stop, all of this killing and people are walking away with permanent life injuries just because of me.
Harvey was willing to compromise and bring me back, to do it all a different way but everything went down so quickly.
Aubree didn't say a word as he walked off so I just followed.
We walked through the halls and someone passed him a gun on the way.
He swung that door open and a few guys were standing around, just smoking and chilling.
"Aubree." I called out.
"Leave or you're gonna see something you don't wanna see." He spoke over his shoulder as he stood at a waist high table.
"Y'all, untie em." He demanded.
I couldn't see what he was doing with his back turned to me so I came closer.
But instead I could now see what they'd done to Harvey.
"Oh my god." I covered my mouth.
He looked so bad. They beat him like this?
I couldn't cry, I knew I couldn't but my eyes burned so bad, I could only look at Aubree but he never looked at me.
Instead he messed around with the gun, slowly loading it.
"Leave... Aaliyah." Harvey lifted his head for a moment but he dropped it as if the weight of it was too much for him.
"I will not. Look at you! They'll kill you if I leave." I replied.
I looked back at Aubree.
"You have to stop."
Aubree
I turned around.
"It might be best for you to listen to your boy." I shrugged to her.
"Aubree, you do not have to do this to him. He apologized, he said he would leave and—" She tried to approach me but I extended my hand, gesturing for her to stop.
"And what Aaliyah?!" I yelled so loud that she jumped. "I don't give a fuck what promises he filled your head with, I filled that shit with a lot of promises but none of em seem to get through to you... But him? Oh he makes one promise now you head over heels in my fuckin' way, ready to forgive him, when his plan was never for your dumb ass to make it back. He was about to burn that mothafuckin' building down with you and that bitch in it. I guess I should've left your ass there to get crispy too, then at least you wouldn't be in my fuckin' way!" I lost it. As much as I try with her, nothing is ever enough.
Now you want me to turn the other cheek when this man had me out here hurting, he had me out here looking sad, calling in favors and all types of shit.
