December 17th
7:45am...Aubree
"Do you think she's moving out?" Luke asked as we sped to the house.
I ignored him, all I can do is hope that ain't true.
I was handling business in Missouri, I was planning on coming home in 2 more days but I checked the cameras this morning, just to make sure they were straight and Aaliyah has like 4 or 5 men, all in our home, moving shit out.
So, change of plans, I'm coming home today.
Luke tapped my watch, making me extend my arm so he could remove it for me.
"Yo chain too?"
"Yeah, I appreciate you." I nodded.
He popped the chain and dropped it in his hand.
"Damn, you can remove a bra that smooth, too?" I questioned.
He laughed loud as hell, not expecting me to joke right now.
When we pulled up, we hopped out and ran inside to find Aaliyah.
We went separate directions as we started searching for her.
I know she ain't expecting me so I could move to the security cameras but I'm ready to really choke her ass fully out this time.
"Aye, what you doin'?" I questioned the first man I saw with stuff.
"Taking these to the truck." He replied.
"Where's the lady that told you to do that?" I asked him.
"In her bedroom."
"I appreciate you." I patted him on the shoulder as I walked by.
I quietly came in, hearing her in the closet, talking.
I came in, catching the man's attention first.
"Hello." He greeted me, extending his hand.
I dapped him instead and when he realized, he returned the motion.
"I'm Phoenix Sofrans—"
"Could I get a moment alone with my wife."
He looked appalled as he quickly gathered hisself.
"Certainly! I'll wait..."
"Right in the hallway is fine, thank you." She smiled at him.
As soon as he turned around I was at her.
"You tryna leave me cause I sent you home? You got these men walking all through our shit, packing up shit and my daughter confused as hell. Yeah, I saw you had to lay her down for a fucking nap cause she ain't want them men in here. She knew something was up, just like I knew to check those cameras this morning. So what the fuck do you wanna do? Leave me? Get beat the fuck up? What."
She stood there shocked so I decided to continue.
"You want me to be sorry? I been sorry since you drove off. I was sorry when I got there that night and you won't there. I ain't mean for it to go this far but I ain't letting you pack your shit and leave me just like that." I shook my head. "I can be a better man, I ain't know I was being a bad one but tell me what to do and I'll do it."
She laughed in my face.
"Baby, I'm... I'm only switching out all those old clothes in our closet." She was dying laughing.
I stepped back, a little embarrassed at how my thoughts just consumed me like that.
I ain't find shit funny though.
