CHAPTER 37

"I'm back!" sigaw ko nang makapasok sa loob ng bahay para marinig nila kuya

Sumakay ako ng taxi pauwi dito kasi pinag-awayan pa nila Thyren at Sky kung sino ang maghahatid sakin! Ano ba talaga ang problema ng dalawang yun? Parang noon pa may galit sa isat isa eh di naman sila magkakilala

"Oh hey lil sis. I'm glad nakauwi ka na" sabi ni kuya Heiross galing sa taas

"Yeah, pero kanina pa dapat ako nakauwi kung di mo pinayagan si Sky na ilabas ako. What were you thinking kuya?" tanong ko pero ngumiti lang siya

"You'll know soon lil sis. Btw,tumawag kanina sina mom and dad at nangamusta. I told them na tumawag ulit later para makausap mo sila" he said then he patted my head

"Ok. Nasaan si kuya Yago?" tanong ko kasi pansin ko lately na parang lagi na siyang nasa kwarto lang

"He's in his room. Probably studying or something" kibit balikat niyang sabi

"Ohh ok. Aakyat nako at magbibihis" at tsaka magtotooth brush din ako kase di ko nagustuhan ang lasa ng black coffee.

Masyado siyang mapait para sakin. I could still feel the bitterness in my tongue kaya magtotooth brush ako

"Pakitawag nlng mamaya si kuya Yago sa room niya pag dinner"

"Yes kuya"

After taking a shower,nagtooth brush muna ako with my bathrobe on at bumihis din agad pagkatapos

And as kuya Heiross said earlier, pupuntahan ko sa room niya si kuya Yago para tawaging magdinner.

Nang makalapit nako sa tapat ng room niya,the door is slightly open kaya sumilip ako. I saw him sitting on his chair by his study table and talking to his phone. Sino naman ang katawagan niya? Si Kavin? Tutal siya lng nmn ang kaclose ni kuya except saming mga siblings niya

Imma go eavesdrop on their conversation

"Yeah...Did you eat dinner yet?...No,go eat.Dont just study,you have to eat." sabi niya sa kausap niya sa phone.

Too bad it's not on loud speaker. Pero si Kavin nga ba talaga ang kausap niya? Why would he ask Kavin if he already ate dinner? Unless it's not Kavin!

"I'll be having my dinner too. Ok,sure. See you tomorrow" sabi niya at pinatay na ang tawag.

Napatakip nlng ako sa bibig ko dahil sa nakita. Kuya Yago just freaking smile! Ngumiti siya pagkatapos niya ibaba ang tawag. No way!!! Is the word ending?! Never ko pa siyang nakitang ganyan with other people! Is it a girl??? And if he said 'see you tomorrow', that means she's a schoolmate or even better,classmate ni kuya?!

Pero napalayo ako sa pinto nang bumaling ang gawi ni kuya Yago sa door. Sana naman di niya ko nakita! I want to know kung sino ang tinawagan niya! Is it really a girl? If it is,I have to know her! Will kuya Yago finally have his first love?!

But we have to calm down first. Di dapat malaman ni kuya Yago na alam kong may katawagan siyang babae. He'll be very mad kapag nalaman niyang nag-eavesdrop ako sa conversation niya sa phone. Grabe pa nmn pag nagalit yun.

I counted 30 seconds before knocking on his door. Hindi niya dapat malaman na kanina pako dito.

"Oh Mia,what do you need?" tanong niya nang pagbuksan ako ng pinto pero bukas na naman yun kanina pa eh haha

"Kuya Heiross asks me to fetch you kasi magdidinner na" ngiti kong sabi.

Ngingisi sana ako dahil may alam akong sikreto niya pero hush lang dapat para hindi mahalata

"Ok I'll be there. Mauna ka na sa baba" Sabi niya kaya tumango ako

Infairness naman nagiging fluent na siya sa tagalog niya. Hindi na siya masyadong slang.

Pangisingisi ako habang pababa ng hagdan at sinusundan ko pa ng hagikgik. Parang tanga lang. Pero bakit ba?! Finally! My babae na ring pinagkainteresan si Kuya Yago. This is a first kaya dapat ko nang makilala yung girl. But I don't know her name kase hindi naman nagmention si kuya Yago ng name nung nasa call pa siya

(Hello my babies! I miss you sooo much!)-mom

We're now on a video call with mom with dad beside her. Dito kaming tatlo sa sala at magkakatabing nakaupo sa sofa katapat ang laptop kung saan makikita ang mukha nina mommy at daddy. I miss them!

"Hey mom. We miss you too" me.

"Don't work too hard. Rest from time to time" kuya Yago.

(Of course sweeties! We'll remember that)-mom

(Boys, always look out for your little sister.)-dad

"Of course we will dad" kuya Yago.

"Mia's really coping well here. And she also have some friends" ngiting sabi ni kuya Heiross.

(Awww I'm so happy to know that my baby girl is fine there. Mia, always take care of yourself there,ok? If ever you decided to have a boyfriend,better get our permission first)-mom said then she winked!

"Mom! Why would I want to have a boyfriend.? Thats not on my mind right now. And where did that idea come from?" napakunot ang noo ko habang nagtatanong.

Even though I'm slightly blushing because a face popped up in my mind when mom mentioned the word "boyfriend". Gosh what  am I thinking?

(Honey, Mia's a teen. She can't have a boyfriend yet) dad said to mom

I honestly feel a bit disappointed when dad said that. Pero he's right naman. I'm still a teen and also I'm not even sure if the guy that I like also likes me back

(Honey, it's normal to fall in love. You can't stop that.Remember what happened to us in the past?) ngiting sabi ni mom na ikinangiti din ni dad. Too much sweetness from this two

(Ok fine. Mia,you can have a boyfriend but always let your brothers look after you. You can't be with your boyfriend if it's just you two. You also can't-) dad

(Honey, Mia knows already)-mom cutted out dad

"I know dad" I smiled "Besides, I'm not thinking of going in a relationship yet" not yet if Sky isn't ready.jk

(Ok baby. I love you) dad

"I love you too" I gave them a flying kiss

(We just wanna check if you're all alright and now we know you are. We'll call again soon my babies. Mom and dad love you always! Bye bye!)

"Bye mom and dad" we said in unison then the video call ended

"Oh ha Mia, pwede magboyfriend pero may rules" sabi ni kuya Heiross nang isara niya ang laptop

"What are you talking about kuya? I don't even have a suitor yet. Boyfriend pa kaya?" napairap ako at tumawa lang siya

"Mia, before having a boyfriend,we must know him first" kuya Yago said as he stands up then walks up the stairs

"Of course kuya" ngisi ko kasi naalala ko na naman ang katawagan niya kanina
