My First Love Interest [DROPPED]

CHAPTER 7

"God I'm tired" after spending some time with my friends, we decided to head back to our own homes.

"Oh,hey sweetie.Welcome back.Did you have fun?" Mom's voice welcomed me first thing I opened the door.She's wearing an apron so maybe she's preparing for dinner.Imagine,we spend talking for the whole morning till afternoon.That's us.

"Hey mom,I'll be upstairs to get changed.Where are kuya Heiross and kuya Yago?"I asked.

"They're at their own room.Your kuya Heiross just got here after taking his friend home. Its a bad thing that you're not here though.What a handsome boy"mom whispered the last part that obviously,I heard.

" I'll be finishing this work now.Your Dad will be here soon so get changed and also call your kuyas to prepare for dinner."she stated then get back in the kitchen.

I was humming and was about to open the door of my room when kuya Heiross' voice spoke behind me

"Awww its too bad you didn't get to meet Sky,lil sis."

'So Sky is his name huh?'

"Its not that bad for me.He's not that important" I said finally faced him

"Really?Well ok.He'll be heading back in the Philippines tomorrow so for you its a good thing right?" He asked then smirked

"Of course!" I said then gave my best smile.Its the best thing for me.No more weird feelings when thinking about him.PSH.

"I'll be going down now." He then walked away.
I can't help but smile.

'Why is kuya being weird?Did he take it from that 'friend' of his?Funny.'

Well,better get changed and have dinner.
Oh,I almost forgot about the cupcake that kuya brought yesterday.I already drank the milkshake though.Its yummy of course.(sino gusto?😆)

"Dad,you don't have work today?" We are eating breakfast when kuya Yago asked.Even I am curious too.He's not wearing his suit right now just a simple shirt and a jeans.

"We'll be leaving the day after tomorrow so I decided to take a leave to prepare" he said then sipped his coffee

"Isn't it great sweeties.Your Dad will be resting till tomorrow" mom smiled

"Of course mom" kuya Yago said while I just nodded so as kuya Heiross

'Time sure passes very quickly.Well be leaving LA the day after tomorrow.Though I didn't have enough of time yesterday chitchatting with my friends for last time after I leave...But we said our farewells though.Farewell that is just for a mean time.I'm not going anywhere far and would surely come back so I'll just wait for the next time we could spend some more time together. But one thing's for sure.I'll never forget about them and I'll miss them a lot.

"Oh Heiross.I just remembered your friend Sky last time.Didn't he tell us that he's going back to the Philippines 2 days after he visited here?How is he now?"

"He and he's mom are both fine,mom." Kuya Heiross while slicing his pancake.

'Here's mom.Still remembering about that 'Sky'.I fogot about him but not until mom talked about him.But come to think of it,if he's in the Philippines and same school as kuya Heiross,wouldn't we see each other often?Why didn't I think of that before?!I would've prepared a way to ignore and not see him.But is it possible that we won't see each other?We're at the same school right?Urgh!!!'

"I guess this is enough" I sigh as I zip my last luggage

'Tomorrow's the day,huh?I'll be leaving my friends and the place where I grow up'

Praying I'll do good in the Philippines and have an easy life there.Hope there're no bullies.

"Wow,I can't believe you have 3 large baggages lil sis.Are you taking your whole closet or something?" Its kuya Heiross.He's teasing me again.

"So what?I'll be staying there for my whole senior year.What do you expect?And also,I can't just leave my dresses here.They're new" I sigh and sat on my bed while crossing arms.He's at the door standing and leaning at the wall.I arched my eyebrows when I notice he's carrying a book.

"What's that?" I asked then pointed the book in his hands.I got curious when he hand it to me.

"Its obviously a book lil sis.Gamitin mo nga yang mga mata mo" he said then sigh

"Hey,I am using my eyes!I mean what kind of book?And why are you giving it to me?" I rolled my eyes

"Its from kuya.Its a Science book.He said I give it to you.For your studies in the Philippines" he said then put the book at my side table

"But,I can just buy books there.Lessons here are very different from the lessons in the Philippines, right?"

"Your right but just accept it.It can help you." He then faced his back on me after talking then went out of my room.

I glanced at the book.Should I bring it?.Kuya Yago knows I don't like to study but why is he giving this to me?!

After a few seconds of staring at it,I decided to just put it inside my baggage just in case it could really help me just like Kuya Heiross said.

"Time to sleep.I have to gain energy for tomorrow" I mumble then lay at the bed but before closing my eyes,I sneak a peek at my phone to see my friends' messages saying 'good bye' and said that they'll miss me so much.I can't help but to smile and then close my eyes.

'I'll miss them too'

And then I dozed off to sleep.
