Study in the Philippines?!

In the Philippines?!

"B-but Dad,why so suddenly?!" I reacted

"I already thought about it and I'm sure you'll be fine...Better actually" he simply said then sip his coffee

"But my friends are here in LA!I don't want to leave them...They're the best friends I've ever have!" I complain... I don't want to go to the Philippines!

"You'll find some new friends in the Philippines... And you'll be back here in LA every holidays to visit us and your friends" he said that make me frowned

'Visit them?'

"What do you mean by visit you?...Aren't you coming with us?" I almost forgot about kuya...he never said anything when dad mention about studying in the Philippines... Maybe he doesn't agree too!

"We'll come with you to the Philippines then back after a few days cuz we have a business here and we don't want to leave our house unguarded" Mom stated...I thought she wouldn't agree cuz we will be apart but I guess I thought wrong

"You two will be living with your brother cuz we already talked about it and he agrees...You don't need to worry cuz his condo is enough for you three...And you're going to study in the same school as him so you'll be fine"I guess he already thought about it...

"B-but...I can't understand Filipino!" I lied...

"Sweetie,your learning to speak Filipino every weekends right?You have a tutor"

Right...That's the reason why I can't go out with my friends every weekends... Because of that learning on how to speak Tagalog thing...I'm kinda fluent already actually and Mom said I really need to study it cuz its her own language and that can help me if ever I can visit in the Philippines...

And guess what,I'm studying there...Haha...Tsk

"You keep lying even if it is really obvious" Kuya said while laughing...

"W-what if they bully me there!" Just keep giving them reasons Mia!!!

"Your brother already said that its a student-friendly school...No need to worry"

'Damn you Kuya Heiross!'

"B-but...but..." I can't think of other reasons anymore!!

"Sweetie,you'll be fine...Philippines is a really great place...Why don't you ask your Kuya when he visits here on vacation...For sure you'll like it there" Mom said while smiling

I didn't said Philippines is NOT a great place...I just don't want to leave LA especially my friends... I spend my whole life living here!

"Ok,that's settled...You two will be studying there and there's nothing you can do about it...Especially you Mia" Dad said then stand up ready to go to work

'There's really nothing I can do about it'

"Let me take you to your car hon" Mom said then go out together with dad

I left there unable to speak then faced Kuya Yago with a 'cant-believe-look'

"Kuya,you really agree to what dad said?!" I stated with a shocking expression
