Okay, I realise you're all mad af because of Dean, but don't worry my precious babies it'll get better.

Or worse

Dean smiled lightly as they boarded their flight. It was happening, Castiel was making this happen. Dean and him got into their seats and Dean put his head against Cas's shoulder. Cas held him close and looked down upon the younger male. This was scaring him. Dean wouldn't be here much longer, this was fucking terrifying. Castiel needed to do everything he could to help Dean. He loved Dean. How could he possible live without him?

Dean's hair wasn't as full as it used to be, and his emerald eyes were duller. However, each day Castiel did something for Dean, Dean's eyes would sparkle, only for a moment. He had a glimmer of hope in his eyes that maybe, just maybe, he would be okay.

"I don't see why they couldn't even give me one bag of peanuts.." Castiel grumbled as he laid his suitcase on the hotel bed.

Dean sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, "to be fair, you did tell the flight attendant that if she'd get on her knees, she wouldn't have to work for minimum wage, and then, when she slapped you, you told her to get into the kitchen and get you some peanuts."

Castiel scoffed, "it's not my fault, she looked like a grade A whore." Castiel plugged in his phone and checked his messages. Most were from collage friends, asking if things were okay. There was one from Gabriel, that said he'd kick Cas's ass if he didn't propose already. Oh, if only you knew why I couldn't.

Dean and Castiel had both decided it was better to keep Dean's sickness a secret, except from parents of course. Someone had to pay for medicine..

Dean laid on their bed and checked his phone. He smiled and sighed, "I'm going to miss collage.." He mumbled. He looked at Cas and smiled wider, "I'm really going to miss you."

Tears brimmed in the corners of Cas's eyes, "Dean, don't say things like that. C'mon, we've got sights to see." Cas smiled brokenly and grabbed Dean up. They trotted out of the hotel and walked around. They held each other's hands and smiled widely. Dean's eyes were suddenly brighter as he admired the sights about him. Castiel looked at him and smiled gently. Dean was so beautiful, no matter what was wrong. He was so lovely.

They walked around, got some Starbucks, took some selfies, and then went back to the hotel room. Dean's feet hurt from walking. He smiled at Castiel and opened his arms. "C'mere.." He mumbled. Castiel couldn't say no to that. They crawled into bed and snuggled together, Castiel's arms tightly around Dean. They fell asleep together, listening to the sound of each other's heartbeats. This was what Castiel always wanted. Now it's being taken away from him. This beautiful person lying beside him will be no more soon.

He just wants to understand why.

"Dean, put on your best clothes!" Castiel announced, stepping out of the bathroom to show Dean his clothing. He wore a red plaid shirt, unbuttoned, with a Star Trek shirt underneath. It had Spock on it, and Dean almost started to cry because of the loss of Leonard Nimoy. "It's been a month since you've been gone, but I still love you.." Dean whispered to himself. He eyed Castiel suspiciously. "Maybe if you lose the combat boots and leather jacket, you'd look nicer.. And the eyeliner.."

"Oh, but Dean, you love when I wear my eyeliner!" Castiel hugged Dean from behind and kissed his neck.

Dean shivered and nodded, "yeah, okay, let's not give me a boner, shall we?" He sighed and squirmed out of Cas's grasp. Castiel whimpered at the loss then bit his lip. You'll have to start getting use to it soon, you utter cock.
