Hobi felt both grateful and a little upset. A few months had past since he had met August sleeping in his garden. They had spent a lot of time together since then, which made him grateful. However, August always had a discreet yet real sad sparkle in his eyes whenever he looked at Hobi, which made him upset.
It was as if August knew something horrible would happen, but he couldn't speak about it. Sometimes, Hobi caught him looking at him in the distance, in his zone.
However, today was enough. Hobi was his friend. August could tell him anything, right?
"August?" called Hobi, catching the latter's attention.
They were laying on the ground of August's garden. Hobi had rushed to do all of his chores and his mother had let him visit his friend. Weirdly, August never seemed to have chores to do.
"Hum" replied August, turning his head to look at Hobi.
"Did I do something wrong? You seem somehow upset when you look at me" asked Hobi.August seemed extremely surprised by the question. He frowned, looked away and eventually sighed.
"I don't think you could understand" whispered August.
Hobi instantly felt like it wasn't just a lousy made up excuse. August sincerely thought that he wouldn't be understood if he talked about it.
"Aren't we... friends?" asked Hobi, feeling a weird pinch in his heart as he said that word. "You can trust me. I will always understand you."
"Very well" finally agreed August, after hesitating for a long time.
"What are you doing?" asked Jungwon's voice behind Hoseok.
"You startled me!" replied the latter, previously so focused on his assignment that he hadn't heard Jungwon entering the kitchen.
"Sorry" said Jungwon.
"I'm just revising some homework" explained Hoseok."Nothing too important?" asked Jungwon slowly.
"No, why?" asked Hoseok, intrigued. The older brother still had Namjoon's observations in mind. He had thought about it a lot and it could be true. However, Hoseok needed more evidence. Maybe Namjoon could teach him how to sense other people's emotions better.
"Could I uh" started Jungwon, seemingly unsure. "Ask you for your opinion?"
"Sure" replied Hoseok, turning his body to face Jungwon completely.
"The only empty seat in the class yesterday was the one next to this guy, Sunoo" started Jungwon. "He is really funny, always trying to hide the fact that he eats food in class."Hoseok laughed, this Sunoo would probably get along Jin well.
"He showed me around the school and invited me to eat with his friends during lunch" continued the younger brother.
"Did you go?" asked Hoseok.
"I did" confirmed Jungwon as his brother nodded. "And this Friday, they talked about playing some bowling."
"Did they invite you as well?" asked Hoseok.
"They did, but that's my dilemma. I don't know if I should go" said Jungwon.Hoseok frowned quickly.
"Why not?" he asked.
"I don't want it to be awkward" said Jungwon.Hoseok was almost sure Jungwon's cheeks were slightly more red than usual.
"Today is only Tuesday" said Hoseok. "You have the whole week to decide."
Jungwon tilted his head, reminding Hoseok of a cat.
"You're right" he said, grabbing a pack of ramyeon. "You want some too?"
"Already ate breakfast, thanks" replied the oldest. As Jungwon heated some water, Hoseok looked at him closely.
Why is he feeling so much pressure to make a decision about a bowling game though?
Does this have something to do with his potential crush?Namjoon, where are you when I need you?

Just before leaving for his first class, Hoseok received an email from his professor. The latter was apparently extremely sick and wouldn't be able to teach his class that day.
It means I have free time for two periods!
Hoseok prepared his bag for the remaining classes and left the apartment at the same time as Jungwon.
After waving goodbye to his brother, Hoseok walked with a smile on his face. The weather was pleasantly perfect, not too cold, not too warm. Just enough for a light jacket to be enough.
A few minutes later, Hoseok had reached the square. As usual, he noticed how people passed by the statue, not even looking at it. It didn't matter. He would always look at it.
As a matter of fact, he sat down right next to it.
Hey Yoongi
Hoseok sighed. He wished he could talk to him for real. At least he could telepathically talk to the statue, right?
I think I made some friends yesterday.
One of them came by at night to talk and he thinks Jungwon has a crush.Hoseok pictured Yoongi chuckling at the news. His eyes would close slightly and he would have the cutest smile on his lips.
Boy, did Hoseok miss this smile.
I don't know if that's true, but if it is, it's really cute. As you know, I thought Jungwon wasn't interested in love.
Remember when you told me that if one day he changed his mind, I should be there for him?
Don't worry I haven't forgotten.By the way, I haven't forgotten any of my promises.
I'm sorry I'm taking so long to accomplish them, though.
Hoseok sighed.
Next thing he knew, a hand gently squeezed his shoulder. As if a person behind him wanted to comfort him.
Hoseok frowned and turned around. However no one was there.
He looked at his shoulder.
However there was no hand.
Thing was, Hoseok was certain he had felt a hand on his shoulder. He had felt five fingers, a palm and the gentle squeeze.
Am I going crazy?
Hoseok stayed like that. Puzzled.
How was this even possible?Hoseok's frown was heavy now. He had never experienced something this weird in his whole long life.
Unless...
Hoseok turned himself to face the statue.
Was that you Yoongi?
