Tw: blood and violence

Matt perches on the top a New York building. The city is splayed out before him. Ambient sounds of his surrounding colliding against each other.

Matt had been thinking. He missed Jules and the sunshine she brought to his world. She was the one constant good thing in his life, and he wasn't ready to give that up. He couldn't let her go. Matt was a man of logic and problem solving, taking the right route, he wasn't a fan of multitasking. But for once he tried something different. He listened to his heart and all it was saying was JulesJulesJulesJules.

He thought he could do it this way: protect the city from a dangerous man whilst helping Jules defeat the person who's subjected her to so much torment. He could fulfil Daredevils needs and Matt Murdock's. It would be a challenge, but he had to give it a shot.

Matt runs through the possible options of tracking down Jameson. A person causing so much chaos has to be known by someone. He thinks about starting off small with the local criminals he could get his hands on. Shake some trees and see what falls out.

------------------

Matt scavenges New York city taking out criminals and leaving a trail of blood, broken bones, and order in his wake. His rampage leads him to the Russians warehouse. The address he managed to beat out of a guy who was now hanging from the edge of a building by his legs.

He firmly knocks on the warehouse door. Matt swiftly takes out the two guards and steps over their unconscious bodies. He moves smoothly like liquid pausing slightly behind a wall. He senses five men inside, armed, and a hostage. The thick smell of copper clogs the air.

He crouches by boxes scattered around the room to shield himself from his opponents. Matt assesses his options, calculating the best way to beat them. He sticks with stealth mode. They wouldn't see him coming and call for backup which would make his job a hellava lot easier. One by one he takes them out, covering their mouths and dragging their bodies into the shroud of the darkness.

The last man standing raises his hands up in defense as he tries to scramble away from Matt. The knowledge sinking in that he wont put up much of a fight. "Please... Please don't hurt me... I'm not looking for any trouble."

"Well, I think the hostage you have tied up here would think different."

In a split-second Matt crouches down and swipes his right leg in a helicopter motion underneath the Russian man's feet, which crumple underneath him. He jumps up and sharply kicks him in the back. The man crawls forward using his forearms as support. Matt calmly steps in front of him and stamps on his fingers. The man lets out a strained yell. "Fuck! Fuck!" Matt grabs a bundle of rope from the table near him and binds the main's hands. He then undoes the ropes of the hostage. "Get out of here."

Matt bends down to the man who struggles against the ropes, laying on his side. "Listen. I need some information." The man spits at the floor in disgust. Matt juts his hand forward serving a blow to his face then another and another. "I just need a location. Where he's gonna be." The main whimpers in pain. "Jameson Banks. He's killed a bunch of agents and he's going after others." The man spits out a tooth revealing a bloody smile. "Well, he's making my job easier." Matt lunges forward grabbing him by his collar. "Do you know him?""

"I've seen him around. You know for the Devil of hell's kitchen you don't seem to know a lot about who's actually running things." He spits. "You know you're one to talk when I'm in the position to kick you in very painful places right now." The man scoffs. "You're out of your depth Daredevil, you're playing an unfair battle." Matt bashes him against ground. "Look If I don't get answers, I fight to get them. You have people you care about? They'll be a lot safer if you tell me what I need to know." The man shakes his head. "Don't you see, we're both dead men. The Kingpin is coming, and you get pushed around by him. Or you die." Matthew feels the fire in his veins. "Not if I get to him first."

Matt has been trying to track Wilson Fisk's movements for months. He was like a ghost he couldn't get rid of. Haunting the city. Taunting Matt in his dreams. Wilson Fisk instills an unmoving peril into everyone he passes. But this was unfathomable. Fisk and Jameson, working together? They are complete opposites. Fisk: calculated but cunning. Jameson indulgent and violent. Without a doubt they are formed from the same coin, but Fisk is heads and Jameson is tails. Nonetheless... There is one thing the two have in common. Persistence. They would stop at nothing to get what they wanted. So, if they have combined forces. The somewhat peace that New York still holds would vanish for the foreseeable future. Matt had to warn Jules.
