"I'm back..", I murmured briefly into the empty house and took off my jacket and shoes downstairs. I led the stairs up to my room and sat there on my bed. It smelled of Liam and I buried my face in the pillow he had slept on.

Liam..

There was a prom dress hanging in my closet that Liam and I bought yesterday. It was a beautiful blue and matched my eyes perfectly. It was a princess dress as Liam thought it would fit me perfectly.

Unfortunately I could only agree. I slowly got up and took my dress off the hanger to hold it in front of me. I kept pacing back and forth, turning, and curtseying. Liam taught me all this before we go to the ball tomorrow.

Because the time had come.. It would take place tomorrow and only my sisters and I made it from this house. So Natalie wouldn't come with me and I laughed at her internally every time it came up. I begrudge Rose but Melody just didn't deserve it. And Natalie especially.

"You will enchant everyone at this ball, Ciny. Everyone will look at you. And in fact I'm even worried about the prince now..." Liam said to me when he saw me in that dress. I had to laugh and assure him that I wouldn't immerse this man for any money in the world. Never. And indeed he believed me.

The night of the prom was fast approaching and my stepsisters and I were running around the house. Or they ran, I ran decently and took everything to my room.

I left my blonde waves undone and pinned the two front strands together at the back. My make-up was much too strong the first time and looked very obtrusive, which is why I had to remove my make-up all over my face. I made my face normal as usual and made the eyes subtle this time. After getting ready, I went down the stairs and saw Natalie whispering to Melody. Rose stood next to them and looked up at me. They talked about me"I'm ready..", I said, holding my heels in my hand. I wanted to get there alive, after all.

I wasn't even looking forward to see the prince, I was looking forward to meet Liam. I hoped so much that he would find time, in which we can be together. We weren't officially a couple yet, but I hoped that question would come up soon. I gave him time and I gave us time too, because he seemed to be very busy at the moment anyway.

I checked my bag one last time and made sure I had everything. There was an invitation, I also had the key. My cell phone was there too. Perfect.

"Are we gonna drive there?" I asked spontaneously and Melody giggled.

"You silly, of course! Didn't you read the form? Apparently not."

No I didn't, Liam handed me the invitation.

"It's all in there. A limousine picks up the few who got a ticket in the raffle. She should be there in a moment." As soon as she said it, there was a hopping outside the door and the three beasts immediately rushed outside while I took my time and followed them with this huge dress.As soon as we stepped out, the door was held open for us.

"Lady Jefferson, you are already expected at the palace.", the driver turned to me personally and I just looked confused at my two stepsisters.

"There must be some mix-up, I don't know anyone in the castle, sir."
