Hope's P.O.V.
Once the day was over, me and the other girls waited for the new girls to show up. I never got their names so Cleo filled us in and told us that their names were Josie and Lizzie. I already have a couple ideas for the initiation but I decided to keep it from the other girls so it'd be a surprise for them as well. It wasn't the same as when they went through it. We didn't have many girls so I guess having a couple more wouldn't make it too crowded. We had enough rooms for them. I mean the school year has just started but I never accepted many people in the first year I created it either. I have trust issues, I'll admit that, and I have my reasons, but I guess that's why most people believe I'm a bitch because of how I act to people because it's hard for me to trust anyone but my family. I was starting to get impatient. "If they don't get here soon, they're loosing their chance." Cleo looked at me and gave me a little smile, I think as a way to calm me. "I'm sure they'll be here soon, don't worry." I rolled my eyes and sighed.Eventually they made it to the house because we heard a knock on the door. Cleo went and opened the door and let them in. We were all relaxing in the living room when we see Cleo, Josie, and Lizzie walk in. Everyone got up to greet them but me. "Girls, this is Lizzie and Josie Saltzman, our new pledgies. Lizzie, Josie, this is Kym, and Jen." I hear Cleo say as she introduced the other girls to the twins. "And obviously you already know Hope over there." She said and I looked up to look at them. I took a glance at Lizzie who seemed nervous but excited at the same time. Then I looked to Josie, who seemed just nervous. She clearly didn't want to be here. I'm not sure if it was because she was afraid on what she would have to do to join or if she just didn't want to be here. I stare at Josie too long before realizing what I was doing and quickly turned my head. Why the hell am I just staring at her? I need to control myself. I stand up and walk over to the girls. "Ready for the initiation?" I asked and Lizzie nodded her head excitedly. "Alright, follow me." I said and started to lead them outside. This is going to be fun.
Josie's P.O.V.
We all follow Hope out the house and down the sidewalk a little ways away from the house. I don't understand why we had to meet at the house if we were just leaving in the first place. I really don't want to do this but Lizzie wants me to join with her. I get why because if I didn't and she did, we wouldn't have a lot of time together because we'd both be busy with school and she'd be hanging out with the girls a lot in their free time. Once we get to where Hope was taking us, she turned to us and gave us a smirk. I don't like this already. But I can't deny that her smirking is kinda hot. "You girls see that golf cart over there?" She asked and pointed at it. We both nod and I'm afraid of where this is going. "I want you both to go over there and steal it and come pick us up." What?! I can't steal anything! I would never! "What?! Are you cra-" I start to say but Lizzie covers my mouth and gives me a pleading look. "Ignore her, we'll do it." Lizzie said and smiled at Hope. She dragged me away from the girls and towards the golf cart. "Lizzie, we can't steal this." "Oh come on. I'm sure Hope will give it back. It's just a bit of fun. It's college Jo. We're not in Mystic Falls anymore, let loose a bit." She said and I sighed softly. We snuck around to make sure no one was around. "Look, the keys were left in the cart, it's our lucky day." Who just leaves the keys? Lizzie starts up the cart and tells me to get in. I'm already in this deep so I get in the passenger seat. Right when she's about to start driving, a man shows up and yells at us. "Hey! Stop right there!" I try to get Lizzie to get off so we can apologize but she starts driving away. She drove towards the girls and they all jumped on and then she drove off while the man chased us. "Seriously Lizzie?!" I yelled at her and she just makes a loud woo sound as I'm assuming her adrenaline was rushing. Mine was as well but this was all wrong. We shouldn't be stealing this golf cart. The girls join in and I turn around to see Hope just rolling her eyes at the girls.Once the guy was nowhere to be seen, Hope speaks up. "Lizzie, pull over." Lizzie obeyed as if she was Hope's little pet. "Alright get in the back." She said and got out of the cart. I could tell Lizzie would prefer to keep driving but she obeys Hope and gets into the back. Hope gets in the driver seat and start driving again. I glare at her for making me do this. I was pissed that she would just tell us steal something like this. "Next task is going to be at one of the fraternities." Another task?! Is she serious right now? What's next, get the guys and go out partying or something? I just can't stand Hope Mikaelson already.
Hope's P.O.V.
As I drive to one of the fraternities, I can feel Josie glaring at me. She really hates what I had her do. Once we get to the fraternity house, I parked the golf cart and take the keys out, putting them in my pocket so no one got any ideas. "Alright now, I will distract the boys while you girls sneak into their rooms and steal a pair of one of the boys boxers." All them smirk slightly, loving the idea but Josie. She rolled her eyes and sighed. She definitely doesn't look amused like the others. I guess I can give her a little slack since she went through the whole golf cart thing. "Josie, you can help me distract the boys." I said and she seemed a little more relieved with that little job. Josie and I walk up to the door after the girls hide and knock on the door. One of the boys comes to it and smiles instantly. "If it isn't Miss Mikaelson. Come on in." He said and moved over to let us in. "Hi boys. This is Josie, she's new to the school and I was just showing her around the school." I lied in a way to distract them but I knew all too well that most of the guys would just be distracted because they would usually just drool over me. "Why hello there Josie. Welcome to MU." One of the guys who was named Landon said. He was always a sweet guy and made it clear that he was interested in me, but I wasn't really interested in him. I've tried to make that clear but he doesn't give up. "And hello to you Hope." He said and gave me a smile. "Hi Landon." I said and looked away to roll my eyes. "So when will you give me a chance?" He asked and I sighed softly. "I'm sorry Landon, I'm just not looking at the moment." That wasn't a complete lie but it was the only thing I had to get him to back off for a bit. "Well when you're ready, I'll be the first in line." I hear someone scoff and turn to see Josie rolling her eyes at Landon, which made me chuckle softly. I guess she can tell I'm not interested in him. After a bit of time distracting them by talking and they just checking us out, we knew they had to of gotten in and out by now. "Well we should head back, it's getting late. Goodnight boys." I said and grabbed Josie's hand to pull her out before they tried to keep us longer. Holding Josie's hand, made me feel butterflies in my stomach but I just tried to ignore it. Maybe it wasn't even butterflies, maybe I was just feeling a little queasy from all the eyes that were on me. Once we were out the house, the girls were standing by the golf cart with the boxers in hand. "About time you came out." Kym said and I gave her a look. "Did you do it Cleo?" I asked and she nodded. Before we went in, I whispered to Cleo to leave the boys a little note to let them know that they stole their boxers to mess with them and if they wanted them back that they would find them around campus. We all got back in the golf cart and I started it up and drove off. I instructed each girl to toss out the boxers as she drove so the boxers were literally around campus.
Once we got back to the sorority house, I parked the golf cart and put the keys in my pocket again. "So are we in?" Lizzie asked. Damn is she impatient. "Ugh, well you did everything smoothly, so yeah I guess so." She jumped up with joy and the other girls joined in but me and Josie. "Jen, show them to their room. You can get your bags in the morning." I said and walked inside the house. The girls followed behind me and Jen took them to their rooms. I followed them up the stairs. "Oh and one thing. No one goes to the basement. It's just storage anyways so there's no need to go down there." I said and then walked into my room before they could question why. No one needed to know what was in the basement. None of the others knew so they didn't either.
It didn't take long before I heard a knock on my door. I groan, setting my book down and groaning. I walk over to the door and opened it. Josie looked at me, looking pissed off. "You're going to return that cart right?" She asked and I sighed softly. She's the only one who made sure I was going to. "Yes, I will give it back. It was just for fun okay? No need to worry." I said and went to close the door but she stopped it with her foot. "You promise?" She asked and I nodded my head. "Yes, now go. I'm sure you're tired after your long day." I said and finally got to close the door. Was she worried that I would get into trouble, or did she just really not want to get caught stealing? Probably the second one. She doesn't have to worry though because I already planned on returning the cart, once everyone was asleep. So I just have to wait until then.
Author; Sorry this chapter is shorter than the other. I would've added the part where Hope takes the cart back but I have a plan for it and thought it could be it's own chapter, although it might be shorter too. Also the girls besides Cleo are random names I took from the Legacies character list. They are not going to be like their characters in the show and the main one you'll see is Cleo. I hope you enjoy this chapter. And I hope the initiation objectives are good enough, I've never been in a sorority so I wasn't sure what to do, I just knew to do something scandalous. I hope you all enjoy it! Thank you all for reading! I really appreciate it!
