Wednesday 8th December.
"Hi guys! Welcome to Vlog One of two here in Abu Dhabi. There will be another one with my normal content, don't worry. If you're new here or new to Formula One, welcome. My name is Jessie Osbourne and I am a Formula One driver for Red Bull Racing Honda. I travel the world and driver fast cars, sometimes legally, and I have a pretty bad habit of bringing you guys along for the ride. Today's content will be featuring none other than Mr Carlos Sainz Jr, Mr Daniel Ricciardo, and Mr Pierre Gasly. They have agreed to participate in the Tequila Talks that I've been mentioning on my Instagram. Now, I asked you guys to send in some questions we can use. Thank you to all of you who sent them in, it was a lot to go through. The rules are as such: I ask the questions and they have to answer them truthfully. If they do not wish to answer them, they have to take a shot of Tequila. You will find no lime and salt here, they have to firm it. Alright! First question. Ha, your girlfriends are either going to kill me or you guys. Which celebrity do you find most attractive."
"Ay, ay, ay, Chica."
"Technically Kate is a celebrity so, I'm saying her," Pierre said, a grin wide on his face.
"I'm going to say Isa, then," Carlos said, looking back to me.
"Very smart answers," I nodded. "Danny?"
"Probably Ryan Reynolds."
We burst out laughing, looking weirdly at Danny.
"I thought you'd say Max based off that little memory of the private jet."
"He's a close second," he shrugged.
"Alright," I chuckled, shaking my head, "next question. Let's stir things up a bit, who do you dislike the most on the grid."
"You," Pierre laughed, making me frown at him. "I'm joking. I'm not going to say that." He took a shot and the other two followed suit.
"You guys are scaredy cats. The driver I most dislike on the grid is Max Verstappen. I kidding, Netflix please don't put that in DTS for added drama or I'll sue you. Ummm, next question. Most embarrassing moment in your childhood."
"I'm going to be falling over if this keeps going like this," Pierre sighed, taking another shot. Carlos did the same.
"Mine involves another person and it's not quite suitable to be told on camera," Danny laughed, taking a shot as well.
"Oh my God," I laughed, knowing the story he was thinking about as he'd told it to us before. "Track that you'd least want to race at."
"Current tracks or..."
"Yeah, current tracks."
"Sorry, Pierre," Daniel said, "probably France. It's boring."
"Ouch!" Pierre replied, looking hurt before mumbling something in rapid French. I giggled at the few words I picked up and shook my head at him.
"I don't really know what tracks I really don't like," Carlos said, putting thought into his answer. "If we're talking purely tracks and ignoring the fans and the atmosphere, probably Turkey. It is a little boring when there is nothing going on. I do like racing there, though."
"Oh, yeah, I know some other people who like Turkey as well," I chuckled.
"Oye, Chica. That is not right," Carlos laughed, guessing what I was referring to.
"What's this?" Pierre asked.
"Oh no, definitely not suitable for the camera," I laughed, looking at my phone for the next question.I propped my iPad up on the bathroom counter in front of me, sipping my sprite through the straw before placing that down too. It was around 8pm, the announcement that I was going to stream being put on my Instagram two hours prior, and the hair dye kit was in front of me still. I'd stripped the dye out beforehand and blow-dried my hair, making sure it was properly dry before attempting to layer it with pigment, and so my natural blonde curls fell in messy ringlets past my shoulders. I started the stream, going on my phone as I waited for the viewer count to increase. I'd been busy today. Golf in the morning then Tequila Talks a few hours ago, and now this. I was going to be even busier tomorrow. The media were going to slaughter me. Word had come out that I'd had a chance to make Formula E but hadn't been offered a contract. It was bad enough that this was my final race in F1 for the foreseeable future, and I was fighting off the dark cloud that had been trying to take over for the past couple of weeks. I was upset. I'd worked hard to get to where I was, worked hard to perform during my heart problems, worked hard to build up my image again after Julien bought it shattering down, worked hard to keep going after what he did to me, and not only had I been putting in what was 150% effort to me, I had been getting results and proving to people that I belonged to be here. We lost the Constructors, something that I was ashamed of, but we gave a good fight, and I'd be supporting Max in his title fight in whatever way I could.
"Hey everyone! Hi. You guys alright? I am amazing, thanks! Uhhh, yeah, you guys guess me too easy. I am dyeing my hair again! For the final race, for my final race, I am dyeing my hair. So, you know at the beginning of my first every season in F1 I had my hair purple, but it was really dark and stuff, yeah? We're going with a pastel purple. This is literally called Wisteria, after the plant. I think it's quite fitting with this being my last race. It's the same colour but not the same shade to show how I've changed in the three years I've been here. I was going to try and save the sentimental crap for Sunday but, you guys are awesome. I don't think I could've asked for better fans. In my first year you guys were hanging on to every stream, every video I put out, supporting me after my operation. Last season, you guys were right by my side with my flashbacks and my mental health and all those photos and videos being leaked. When I spent the night at my apartment by myself, when I was so, so scared, you guys were with me. I've shared so much with you I don't think I could ever thank you enough for being here with me. This season, moving to Red Bull, recovering from what happened, dating Harry, you guys again have not failed me. I'm not a perfect person, I make a lot of mistakes, but you guys support me anyway and so I thank you for that. It's meant a lot to have people by my side even when I wasn't supporting myself. So, thank you. Anyway, hair dye. Let's get it mixed up, shall we?"
