Jennette pov:
The dress the maid picked was very simple but with a little bit of ruffles on the bottom of the dress.

'Aint gonna lie but the color is very pretty.' I grabbed a hat that match my dress and wore it on my head. Everything is set!
I got out of my room and was surprised to see a guard near my bedroom. They told me to follow him to the dining room.
While walking thought out the palace, I looked around to see many pictures of Athy and Claude side to side. Some are new paintings but none of them has Jennette in it. I wonder how Jennette felt when she saw these pictures.
We finally got to the dining room and the guard opened the door for me.
I saw athy and Claude socializing until they saw me, Jennette. They suddenly stopped socializing with each other, and it felt weird being the center of attention.
I stepped forward and took my seat. They still kept looking at me with death intention.
They finally stopped looking at me and began eating their breakfast. I also started to eat.
For some reason, while I was eating, I realized that some of the meat wasn't cooked thoroughly... I was frustrated at what Jennette had to eat every day at this hell of a place.
I looked up and saw a maid smirking at me. I was furious, I almost snapped but if I do that I might get in trouble since their both here.
There was a lot of silence during breakfast, and I didn't mind it that much since they were the ones who did kill og Jennette.
I stopped eating and asked to excuse myself since I wasn't hungry to eat raw food. The emperor excused me and I left that room and went back to mine.
Athy pov:
I was talking to daddy when Jennette came in. I looked at her walking towards a chair near me. I didn't like it at all but it doesn't matter as long father was near me.
I watch her eat her food and I let out a small smirk. I knew that her food was always raw. I proceeded to eat my food when she suddenly stopped eating.
I saw her eyes widening with shock. Did she find out it was raw the whole time? I saw her look at a maid smirking, I've never seen her make that type of gaze on her ugly face.

*What she saw*
I was afraid of that gaze... And I don't know why...
I continued to eat looking afraid when Jennette suddenly asked to leave early. Father excused her and it was just me and father in the dining room.
Jennette pov:
Ugh... I can't believe Jennette has to eat that nasty food. I swear I will get revenge for her! 🔪
