The dreaded day had arrived at uttermost speed. Hearts were pounding as they all woke up this morning. The tranquil silence was painstakingly loud.

The girls all had woken up even before individual alarms rang. Taehyung was still missing.

They refused to hold eye contact with Jisoo who was behaving in a questionable manner with no signs of sorrow on her face. The girls decided to ignore it just like her.

That couldn't be said for Seulgi and Nayeon who were quite emotional and had cried all night just thinking about Jennie and Jisoo.

Yeji and Lia were no better either but at least the girls had some decency to keep it quiet while the older women wailed enough to keep everyone awake.

Somehow they even managed to wake Jimin up for another screaming match. Now they were regretfully spooning their puffy faces to get rid of the bloating.

"Did Tae text anyone back yet?" A chorus of 'No's answered Jisoo.

"Can't believe you made us go to the stylist last night."

"Your girlfriend said she wanted to outdo everyone." Jisoo shrugged off "You're welcome."

"Exactly! Look at me!" Nayeon ran her hands down her dress. "Pretty?" The taller girl leaned down to press a kiss against Nayeon's cheek.

"As always." She was not one to disagree with the truth.

"Gross." Ryujin cringed, charading the act of her throwing up. "Get a room."

"Seriously. People are trying to stomach their breakfast." Momo threw a pillow at them for Jeongyeon to catch it and throw it back.

"Of course, you wouldn't skip breakfast even in such a situation." Nayeon rolled her eyes, applying on her lipstick. "Where's Sana?"

"Here!" The Japanese skipped in, slightly stumbling in her heels. Jisoo held a hand out to offer some assistance which she gladly took.

"She has a wedding today and is acting like this with another woman. How incredulous." Seulgi shook her head in disapproval. The raven flipped her off and left the room to her herself ready. She had unknowingly been stalling.

Leaving the chatter filled room, Jisoo came to realise how much her friends had been distracting her from what was about to happen. As their voices drowned out, her heart began aching.

Even as the warm water was running down her body, she was shivering due to her affliction. Jisoo felt as if she was lying but an empty body as she dressed herself.

A question Lisa had asked last night replayed in which head. It was something that had been bothering the Thai for quite a long time.

"Soo."

"Yeah?"

"I know I might be wrong but does the fact you're giving up and running away before even trying to tell Jennie have anything to do with...her?"

"Lisa."

"You know Jennie's not the same as her. This won't end like that. This isn't the same. She isn't the same."

"I know! I know..." Jisoo closed her eyes to keep her emotions at bay. "But I'm too weak to watch the girl I love destroy herself and then me."

"Jisoo..." Lisa weaved her fingers with Jisoo's and gave her hands a squeeze.

"I hate myself for leaving her like this but at least she'll be with someone she thinks she likes. I would hate myself even more if I became the reason she hated living."
