"What the hell are you talking about? Jin is not gay!"

"Are you blind?" She gestured to Namjoon who stood with his head hung in guilt. "Do you not see this?"

"What did you do to him?" Dara pulled Jisoo by her collar, eyes shaking in anger.

"Me? He's the one who decided to run away and get married to his fucking assistant! All after actively arranging a whole engagement with another girl." She ripped off Dara's hands from her collar.

"And all of this still leads back to you both. You wanna know how?" She walked to Jin and urged him to speak. "Tell them what you told me."

He gulped down the saliva in his throat. Jisoo continued to look at him.

"I said, tell them what you told me!" She raised her tone, making him flinch.

"I...."

"Spit it out. Why the hell are you stumbling over your words when you spoke so confidently to me?"

"I wanted to humiliate you both!" He spoke in a hurry, in fear of being met with a fist again "I wanted to see you bashed at your biggest social event in years in front of all those pretentious, high-class, douchebags."

As soon as the words left his mouth, he teared up with shame and slight regret. Sure, he hated the way his parents acted but in the end they were still his parents.

"Growing up...all I wanted to do was be like dad, and it wasn't hard to tell he wanted it too. But as soon as I stepped into the office I knew I was incompetent."

"Jin, you're not-"

"Don't lie to me dad. When Jisoo started working on projects, I saw the way you looked at her. You were scared. Scared she will overtake me soon. I was too."

"Being at an advantage since birth must have been nice." Lisa scoffed, still angry about their treatment towards the older.

"It was." Jin guiltily smiled. "I thought I was entitled to everything so when I became the CEO with Jisoo's work, I didn't feel an ounce of guilt. That was until I started working."

"You just weren't ready in the beginning. Your work has been perfect the past few years." Senghyun assured.

"That's because it's not my work!" He yelled in distraught. He calmed down when he met Seunghyun's eyes again. "It's not my work, dad."

"It's Joon's. All of my past work has been his. I hired him for it. I thought eventually I would learn from him but instead I learned to love him."

"You don't mean that."

"I do, mom. But I knew you wouldn't want this for me and I didn't want to be with these disgusting people anymore. All everyone cares about is money. I feel so dirty thinking of how I used to be."

"Dirty?" Dara sneered in his direction. "Money is the reason you were even able to run away without a struggle!"

"You said you wanted this...this whole engagement was your idea." Seunghyun stared at his son in defeat.

"Did you not hear me? Dad, What is so hard to accept about me being a shitty person?!" His voice hollered across the mansion. "You saw how I treated Jisoo and didn't speak a word. You knew my nature and didn't condemn me. You were part of the problem!"

"Don't blame everything on us! This whole situation is happening because of you!" The older woman printed at him, fuming.

"I know. That's why I'm back. I will..." He swallowed the knot I'm his throat. "I'll marry Jennie."
