"Did you cross reference their names?"

"Yes, ma'am." The man nodded confidently.

"And what about the others?" Her fingers traced across the documents handed by him.

"As long as everyone knows, they fled the city the morning after the we-" He closed his mouth as a hand raised to stop him.

"Wow, it wasn't even some elaborate plan. Just running away like cowards." She scoffed.

"Our sources did spot them around Korea recently so they are still in the country." The man watched her walk over to stare at the pictures he presented to her on his phone. After a long glare, she gave it back to him.

"They're not relevant to me anyway. Is everything ready for me?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"Good." She stared at the ring on her finger. "I'll be on my way."

"Please say chk chk chk!" Lisa was kneeling beside the printer, pleading to it at the brink of tears.

Without a second to waste, Jisoo gave it a kick and signalled Seulgi who dialed a bunch of keys on her laptop. "Go." Lisa hit the print button again once she received Seulgi's command.

"Please say chk chk chk now." She softly whispered to it once again. It was followed by a series of sounds that resulted in their documents flying out of the machine

"Yes! I knew they would pick us!"

"We won!!" Seulgi cheered, tears of happiness in her eyes. "Dalgomie, you're going to get the expensive dog food from now!" She squeezed the maltese in her arms.

"So, do I get a thank you, at least?" The younger girl, waiting for them to calm down, asked with a teasing smile. "Do you know how hard I worked to find this opportunity?"

"Thank you so much, Yerim-ah!" Seulgi jumped up and down, hugging her in excitement. "I knew I raised you well."

"I want 10% of all profits."

"Nevermind." Seulgi quickly pulled away from her. "You're an orphan now."

"You're so full of shit." Yeri walked out of the room after punching Seulgi in the gut.

"Hey, where's Soo?" Seulgi asked once she recovered.

"Jisain Bolt left right after the kick. Probably at that same waterfall or bus stop again."

"How long do break up slumps even last? It's been more than three months." Seulgi slumped onto the couch. "She's been walking around lifeless since we came back. No matter how hard she tries to hide it, we can all see her.

"Give her time, Seul. She really loved Jennie. You know, how devastating she was on that flight. That was the first time I saw loneliness had a shape."

"These few months really took a toll on us, huh?"

"We barely survived. It's a miracle we even made it out of the country alive yet alone without a few criminal charges." Seulgi agreed with a few bouncy nods.

"We're still cool with Jennie's sister, right?"

"Seul," Lisa looked at her longingly. "I appreciate the way you still have your priorities in these trying times."
