-YOUR POV-

“Stay away from Kendall.” She demanded.

“I’m sorry?”

“Did I stutter? Stay. Away. From. Kendall.” She talked to me like I was a two year old.

I gave her a dirty look. Who does she think she is?!

“I just met him...” I tried to explain.

“Did I ask you?”

“Karen. I literally JUST met him, I don’t like him.”

Who was this woman?!

“Good.” With that, she stormed off in the opposite direction.

Who WAS this chick?! And why did she think she owned Kendall when she just met him?!

I just brushed it off. Why should I care if she was infatuated with him? He’s just a friend-if it’s even okay to call him that now. I figure after talking with the boys for two hours straight, I could consider them my friends.

Since we were in LA and my house was only thirty minutes away, I decided to go home and wash up. By the time I got back, they’d be done with sound check and meet and greets.

After taking a shower and washing the blood out of my hair and off of my face, I searched through my dresser and closet for something comfy to wear. I decided to go with a pair of gray sweats with a hot pink tank top. I curled my long, golden-brown, hair, which almost automatically straightened itself out so that it was just wavy, enough to cover most of the gash on my face. I put on a little bit of eye shadow and some eyeliner and mascara-not too much, keeping the look natural. I refrained from using any foundation because of the cut I didn’t want to get infected. I took one final look in the mirror before leaving. Both the nasty bandage on my leg and the cut on my face were covered (well, my face only mostly) and I approved my image, knowing that this was about as good as it gets.

“YN?” I heard my name being called as I walked back into the arena.

“Right here!” I smiled, walking up to Kendall who’d obviously been looking for me.

-KENDALL’S POV-

“Hey!” I said, seeing YN’s figure down the hallway. I jogged up to her. “Where did you-“ I took a small pause as my eyes absorbed her image. She was really beautiful. The way her hair formed around her face and her deep brown eyes. “Go?” I finished my question, then added on to make the sentence complete, “Where did you go?”

“I just went back to my house to wash all the blood off of me.” She laughed. “Why?”

“Oh, nothing, I thought we’d lost you. And Karen’s kind of-“

“Hey there Kendall!” Karen said suddenly, showing up behind Kendall, wrapping her arms around his waist.

I gave him an ‘um, what the heck?’ kind of expression and he widened his eyes and nodded in agreement.

“YN, didn’t we talk earlier?” She glared at me.

“Right.” I said, pointing a finger at her as I said it, then walked away.

“Wait, YN!” Kendall called after me.

I turned around and started laughing as Karen was pulling him away and he turned around to face me. I put up a heart with my hands and mouthed ‘I LOVE YOU’ as he playfully glared at me and shook his head.

“She is insane.” Logan said, walking up behind me.

I turned around. “Really?” I asked sarcastically.

He stuck his tongue out at me and we walked back to the dressing room.

-END POV-

-KENDALL’S POV-

“Karen, I don’t even know you.” I said to her as she complained.

“But Kendall! One kiss won’t hurt!” She said.

“Karen, stop!” I said, putting up my hand when she tried to lean in again.

“You don’t recognize me do you.” She sat down on the couch in defeat.

“What do you mean?”

She looked back up at me.

“Now that you mention it, something about you does look a little familiar...” I stated.

The green eyes. The way her cheekbones really showed when she smiled. The blonde hair.

“No way...” I muttered under my breath.

“It’s me.” She smiled, standing up.

I opened my arms and she hugged me. It’s been so long since I’ve seen her- the last time I saw her was in ninth grade when she moved away. When we were forced to end our two-year relationship.
