YOUR POV

“Maybe we’ll save that for when you get back. What day are you leaving next week, anyways?” He asked.

“Friday.”

He nodded. “Okay, the we’re spending every day together between now and Friday.”

“Kendall!” I laughed.

“What? We’ve got three months to make up for!”

KENDALL’S POV

Friday came way to fast. The last week I spent with YN was absolutely perfect, though. Well, minus the teasing from Sam and the guys. And the few hours each day YN spent at the studio.

Now I had an entire month with absolutely nothing to do but wait for YN to return. That was until the guys came up with this great idea of going to Maui.

“Just for vacation.” Carlos said. “It’s not like we’d stay there forever.”

“We’d want to.” Logan chimed in.

James shook his head. “Why are you guys arguing with him? Do you NOT want to go to Hawaii?”

“I just don’t think Sam would let us, that’s all.” I said.

“Yeah, and we should trust Kendall’s judgment.” Logan said. “He knows Sam better than all of us, after all he’s sleeping with Sam’s niece.”

The three of them laughed as I just rolled my eyes.

“I’m not sleeping with her, we’re just dating.”

“Kendall shut up!” James said. “We all know you WANT to.”

I just shrugged, hoping they’d move on.

“We’re going to Maui.” Carlos said. “I just bought the tickets.”

We all stared at him.

“You paid for us? Aw, thanks, man.” Logan said, half joking.

“No, you’re all paying me back.”

“Wait, you actually BOUGHT the tickets?!” James exclaimed.

I could not believe this. “Carlos!”

“Relax!” He reassured us. “I know a guy and I got us a discount! We leave next week.”

James and Logan cheered. I sat back, having a mini flashback from when YN had said almost those exact words.

“Kendall? You cool, man?” James asked.

“Yeah, sorry. I miss her already.”

“Just text her, dude.” Carlos said. “That’s why I did with Sammy all tour.”

I rolled my eyes “Carlos.”

“Yeah?”

“She’s on a plane.”

“Oh.”

James laughed while Logan got us back on topic. “So how long are we there for?”

“A week.”

“Alright, let’s get packing!”

“Wait.” James said.

“What is it, man?” Logan responded, while Carlos and I said, “Yeah?”

“Aren’t we releasing Windows Down this month?”

“Your point?” I asked.

James shook his head. “Well...we’re releasing the music video first. Which means we have to make that between now and the next three weeks.”

Logan shrugged. “We’ll just make it when we get back from Maui.”

“Isn’t that cutting it close, though?” I asked, suddenly in agreement with James.

“Guys, calm down. We’ll make it happen.” Carlos said.

“What about Sam, then?” Logan said. “Shouldn’t we tell him we’re going to Maui?”

“I mean, yeah,” Carlos nodded. “But he can’t really tell us what we can and can’t do, we’re on vacation right now, remember? When we make the video is our call, it was our idea to release the song this month.”

“Well we better get the video done before we release the song.” James showed his phone to us, his twitter mentions full of hashtags reading ‘Windows Down’ and then a number. “Because our Rushers are already starting the countdown.”
